Originaly from North West of France, I live in Paris since 1998. I work as photographer, i'm interested in Art, culture, new technologies, meeting new people, sharing points of view.. and more!
to be continued..
It was our first experience with Airbnb and Benjamin did a great job to make us at ease. We had e very nice weekend and definitely would stay at his flat again on a next visit to paris.
I rented Benjamin's room for a month. I would rent it again. The room is clean and comfy. It looks just like it does in the pictures. As does the rest of the apartment.
Benjamin is an amazing host! He made me feel welcomed in his home. He was always willing and happy to answer my questions about the metro or certain landmarks in Paris. He respected my space; I respected his space.
The area is great. Full of tourists and locals. Restaurants, take-out joints, ATMs, and pharmacies abound. There are two grocery stores near the apartment. Père Lachaise cemetery is minutes away. The Gambetta metro stop (line3) made it easy for me to explore Paris.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! First of all, Benjamin is a great guy. He is a cosmopolitan, very international and open minded! He is fun to be with, he is respectful and you can have every help you need. Benjamin´s appartment is wounderful renovated, and very clean. He put his very heart into it, and you can see and feel that! The area, near by Père Lechaise, is very nice with best urban infrastructure - near by are supermarkets, bakery´s, coffeehouses etc., and, very important: metro and bus stations.
I personally had a great time in Paris by a big part caused by Bejamin´s kindness and the homelike feeling I got in his appartment. I am looking forward to staying in his castle again;)
I had a really wonderful stay with Benjamin! He was super nice, knowledgeable and helpful with regards to the city. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is a gem- very safe and close to the métro. Comes highly recommended!
Benjamin was amazing, very accommodating and welcoming.
He speaks also German. This was fantastic for me, because I spent my time in Paris to learn French and therefore it was great to practice the language with him and to change in German for all the difficult things.
Benjamin was very cautious to make sure I was okay and I had everything that I needed during my stay. He asked several times if everything is fine (even as he was absent for one week during my habitation). He gave me a really good feeling for living in his flat. Besides, he was very helpful and I was happy to get some useful advices (for the area, the daily life, interesting museums, ..) for my stay in this unique city.
Benjamins home is very lovely, modern and clean. The apartment has everything you need and I had a spacious and welcoming room with a fast working internet access. Benjamin lives in a friendly parisian area near the Metro station Gambetta (ligne 3).
Altogether: a very lovely host, a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this accommodation.
Benjamin is a wonderful conversationalist. You can chat for hours with him just about anything. He is very open minded, tolerant, friendly and kind. He loves talking about art, cinema, photography, architecture or society in general.
He knows Paris and his area very well and will provide precious advice as to what to do during your stay. He will make sure you have everything you need and will not be intrusive.
He will be helpful if you need him but discret if you want privacy.
Benjamin's appartement is spacious and welcoming. You will have your own large private room with a very confortable mattress, desk, wardrobe and large mirror. The bathroom is modern and clean and the kitchen is very functional.
The Gambetta area is very friendly and safe. It is near every convenience and you can reach every central point in Paris with a quick metro ride. You will be steps away from the famous Pére Lachaise cemetery where numerous famous personalities are buried.
Benjamin has done a fabulous job renovating his appartment himself, giving it the true Parisian appartment feel it deserves. The place is bright and cozy and Benjamin always enjoys hosting friends and visitors from around the world. Having known him for a long time, I always enjoy making a stop in Paris for a glass of wine in his company. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay!
