I am a very committed horse owner and rider. I love working on our property especially gardening. We have owned the property for 4 years and lived in the area for 12 years. The Dairy has been my project over the last 12 months. It started with the sale of my horse Bo to a wonderful local family. We swapped the horse for building work. Then renovation of the Dairy began.
I have the most amazing life and I try and live every day to the fullest which is not hard to do when you live in such a beautiful part of the world.
We have a resident dog - Dasher the chocolate border collie who is obsessed with sticks, a burmese cat Oscar (female), Iggle, Piggle and Daisy our chickens. My real passion is my horse Fab. I could not imagine life without riding or horses!
I have an amazing husband Bruce who supports me in all the things I do. His motto is "Happy Wife, Happy Life". I have a 31/2 year old son Will who is my little sidekick, farm helper, best friend and an amazing source of joy in my life. Bruce is an Exercise Physiologist and I work for a not for a local profit community organisation that works with schools and children. Currently, I run a mentoring program for high school students.
I'm originally from Sydney, my husband from Wagga Wagga. We met whilst I was in Wagga at university. We have now made the Byron area our home. We have been here for over 13 years and love it!
I love to cook and try and use local produce. My husband and son are both gluten and dairy free so I experiment a lot. I enjoy creating things!
My favourite travel destination is Asia which my husband and I have traveled quite extensively.
I really enjoy creating interesting spaces such as our beautiful Dairy. I have done most of the work myself and used mainly recycled materials.
We are well traveled and love meeting new people. We are really excited about sharing our amazing property with our guests and making new friendships.
