I live alone with my dog. I'm a full time student, studying Herbal Science. I'm a qualified massage therapist, aromatherapist and gardener. I love reading. I'm an easy enough host, and we'll get on just fine if you clean up after yourself.

Maggie and her home are fabulous. Everything was great - she's in a quiet area but still an easy walk everywhere. She's very close to convenient bus lines. The room was great for us (a couple). Strong wifi and all that. Maggie was so generous, helpful, kind, and interesting. Her dog is adorable. Highly recommend staying with her. Thanks, Maggie!
Maggie was THE PERFECT HOST ! Thanks to her, i spent two wonderful days in Dublin. Her house is very beautiful and cosy and she gives really good advice to her visitors. I would love to go back to her house next time i go to Ireland. Thank you again Maggie ! Bisous de Lyon !
I definitely had a wonderful stay with Maggie! I only stayed for 2nights, but she helped me in all different ways and I could feel safe even though I was traveling by myself and my trip in Dublin became very enjoyable one! Her doggie was so cute and she gave me even more lovely memory staying at this place! :) I loved her wooden country looking place, and it was clean & tidy! I could walk to the city and phoenix park easily and I only had one full day to look around Dublin, but I could do most of the things I wanted to do in this city! I had to leave in the early morning with my big bags and I was really worried, but she woke me up early with me and gave me the lift to the closest station. Thank you very much Maggie for wonderful hospitality! I hope I can come back to your place again one day and I totally recommend anybody to stay at her place!
I stayed at Maggie’s house for ten days and I think it was a really nice stay! She greeted me with a very nice meal~~ The bedroom is very large and clean and comfortable. The area is quiet and safe so you can probably have a good sleep. Maggie gave many good advice about travel, house and jobs in Ireland (as I come here for working holiday for one year). She is very nice and generous, and helps me a lot with directions (as I always get lost XDD). I can always give a call/ send a message when I need help. Her dog Rosie is really cute and lovely!!! I can use all things in the kitchen and the bathroom. It was tidy and clean. I fully recommend you to stay in Maggie's house. BRAVO! :)
thank you Rachel for such a lovely review. I never know what to say about people!
We have spent our lovely two weeks at Maggie's house! It is located in a quiet calm area not far from the Phoenix Park. Inside the house is very cozy and wooden like a village house. Our bedroom was large and clean, bed was also big and comfortable, many shelves, wardrobe for clothes and bags. Unfortunately, we met Maggie very rarely because of her trips for some days and our visits to another towns, so we talked not very much. She seemed to us very friendly, kind and cheerful person. She left notes for us with recommendations, which were very helpful, and we always could send a message with questions and get answers from her. Twice we have met Maggie's lovely dog Rosie, which was very friendly and fun.
We are very reccommend staying at Maggie's house!
Maggie welcomes us very friendly, open-minded and helped us all the time. She gave us good insider information. We really enjoyed our stay at Maggies home - for several days we also felt at home there. ☺ We could use all things in the kitchen and the bathroom. It was tidy and clean. We can fully recommend it!
I stayed at Maggie's house for my first ten days in Dublin and I enjoyed my stay a lot.
I did not have much time with Maggie as she was away for a weekend and later on another vacation but I can say that she is a really nice and friendly person that made me feel at home in her house quickly. She also gave me some good advice about where to look for apartments and what to do in my free time. Maggie also had a spare bike for me which was great to get around the city a bit.
The room is quite big in comparison to others that I have seen in Dublin and there is a lot of space for clothes etc. All of the rest of the house is also very nice and clean, I especially liked the kitchen which was very comfortable and cozy. The area (Stoneybatter) offers everything you need (grocery, pharmacy, cafés, pubs etc.) and is in walking distance (15 min) to the city centre and also to Phoenix Park where I enjoyed to go in the evenings.
All in all I can only recommend this place and if Maggie rented the room for long term stays I am sure I would have stayed with her for my seven month in Dublin ;-)
A lovely place in a nice and calm area in Dublin. Not far away from Heuston-Station. I had five wonderful days here and would recommend it for anybody going to Dublin!!
Maggie was a great host, more then happy to show me around the area and where everything is. The location is great, about a 20 walk from O'Conell street and Temple Bar or a very short tram ride. It's also walking distance from the Guinness factory and kilmainham gaol. The room was a good size and the house very clean and tidy. I would recommend staying here.
Maggie was a wonderful host! She was very helpful if we needed any directions or recommendations and is just an all around cool person. Perfect balance of leaving us to ourselves and being available and accommodating.
