Maribel...You are so very kind...Such a LOVELY review! I loved the evening that we all spent at home with the Italian's team cooking, Spanish team doing the dishes and the British team drying them....I had SUCH a great time with you and Carla....Not long enough stay with you was my only complaint....LOL...Please come for longer than just the weekend next time....Hope you made it home safely...we will always think of you fondly! Lots and lots of love xxx
Clare and Rob....I'll never forget the "Seized ball cock" situation with the water pump at the Bird House on your arrival!!! Thanks for being such AMAZING guests, and I truly hope you'll be back again to see us...I was blessed with you and it was an amazing group with you and Rob, Tom and Gemma, Neil, and the rest of the crew off the yachts...I had fun too...lots of love from all of us!
We already miss you! Thanks for the bottle of my favorite Cavalier RUM and the lovely jade necklace...Wearing it with pride...I so enjoyed our fun times together, and long to hear about your lobster lunch on the beach at Prickly Pear Island...a diamond in the rough! Also about Halcyon Cove as I always look for places to get away once in a while and troop off to enjoy other parts of the island with a friend...I'll pass on your details to Neil, and all sorts! THANKS SO MUCH AGAIN FOR SHARING YOUR TIME WITH US WHILE ON YOUR HOLIDAY...CHEEERS....Libby and all here...it's true Gemma, I felt that you were a part of my family and was happy to see you home safe and sound every evening...Lots and LOTS of love xxxx and of course THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!
We missed each other by minutes, and wanted to meet you very much too! I would have been sure to show you to your room with our complimentary welcoming rum punch, which I gather you missed out on! I think I left Lucky with an over load of responsibility, which landed a shortfall of hospitality on our behalf...When and if you come back to Antigua, I certainly hope that we can share a sundowner together overlooking the harbour and get to know one another. Thank you so much, Silvia, for coming to Pineapple House to stay!
Thank you SO much for such a lovely review. Dana really enjoyed showing you the ropes, so to speak. I heard that you all had a really great time together. We are a closely knit family and so happy that you could feel a part of the Pineapple Christmas...awesome fun. Matteo kindly sent me photos of everyone there...great seeing Andy there, too....Christmas at Pineapple House is such a family feeling...Sam and Rick, Lisa...all the guests shared with me how nice it was that you could all meet. For me, Oliver, it is so very important that you feel very at home and comfortable. I am very grateful that you were so understanding about the water shortage in Antigua....I was in touch with Lucky daily on that account...It is one of the hardest parts of living there, and running a hospitality business, it is critical to have water. Thank you for being such a wonderful guest, and I hope that you will come back again to stay. Next time, I want to be there!
Thank you so much for a great review....I'm so happy you enjoyed it, though the water issue was a bit unfortunate. I gather from Lucky that the pump wouldn't turn itself automatically, so they had to do some maintenance on it, but thank you so much for you kind understanding as well. It is rare that I leave the Pineapple House during the season, and I am looking very much forward to getting home to make sure everything is in good working order. I hope you will come back again some time when I am there...I'd love to meet you next time. Thank you so much...Libby
Thank you so much Matteo...I'm so happy you had a wonderful Christmas at Pineapple House with the other guests, and that you met my sister, Dana. I sincerely hope that you will come back again some day and that we will have a chance to meet. Once again, thank you so much for sending me the photos of every one sharing the champagne breakfast! Cheers, Libby
Oh Sam, thank you so much, for such a gorgeous review!...You HAVE to promise me that you'll come back, and I'll PROMISE that I'll be there for you too next time! It is a rare moment for me to be off the island during the season, so I was very torn...It's been decades since I spend Christmas away from Antigua! I'm so happy that Dana was there to keep the Christmas Champagne brunch tradition of The Pineapple House family, which for me is magic, and I love bringing the tropical flora into the house and decorate the living room with them....It's so festive! The company ALWAYS makes the party, though, and when Matteo and Lisa sent me some photos of all of you there having a great time, watah come to me eyes! I felt touched! I thank you both so much for your compliments, and we'll have a rum punch for you on the bar any time you can come "home" to your Caribbean hideaway! Lots of pineapple love!
