I'm a fifth-generation Torontonian, and, although my heart and home are in the big city, the ecologist in me cries out for quiet nights on blue lakes and rocky shores.
Check in was easy and the condo was exactly like the pictures. Everything is there, a supermarket at the ground floor of the building, a nice sushi restaurant just on the corner and the shopping mall is just 2 blocks down.
Paul was really friendly, even when I accidentally locked the bathroom door late at night he was there in a second to open it again. So nice!
All in all I had a great stay, can really recommend it!
I was in Toronto for a conference, and I had a nice stay at Paul's place. It's in a great location downtown, within easy walking distance of many attractions and about a block from the airport express shuttle stop and downtown bus terminal. Paul was friendly and easy to work with. The only problem with the place was that the air conditioning quit working just before my arrival, and the maintenance people couldn't come look at it until after I left. Fortunately, it was still cooling off at night, and Paul brought me a fan, so I was fairly comfortable. The flat is small, but it's comfortable and looks as pictured.
This was a great apartment in downtown Toronto to stay at while I was at a conference. It was exactly as Paul depicted it on Air BnB. He was an excellent communicator and very helpful. The place was clean and although small, ideal for one person or a couple. I managed to use the pool which was fantastic.
I had a great time at Paul's studio. He keeps it very clean and if you are staying in Downtown the location is unbeatable. 5 min walk from all the cool stores on Queen 2 minutes from the giant mall. I would definitely stay again. Great host. Always followed up and offered to help in anyway he could.
We returned to Toronto and decided to stay in Paul's condo with its proximity to the hospitals and UofT. The space is exactly as it looks in the pictures - bright, clean, and welcoming. Paul (email hidden). We had a late arrival, and he personally met us in front of the building and helped us (email hidden). Overall, my wife and I had a great stay.
I really enjoyed staying in Paul's condo while in town for a conference! It was exactly as described, and in a very convenient location. The unit itself was very quiet, but it is also close to lots of restaurants and night life. Paul also provided lots of things I would never expect: laundry detergent for the washer/dryer, a new toothbrush (which ended up being the one thing I forgot to bring with me!), etc. I was also really impressed with the quality of the wifi, which was important for me as I had to work while I was in town.
We loved Paul's condo! The location is perfect for anyone visiting Toronto - including Torontonians, like us! We contacted Paul when our housesit on Toronto Island ended early due to unforeseen circumstances; because we had airbnb guests in our own home, we found Paul's adorable place and booked it. So happy we did. We went ice skating in Nathan Phillips Square, swam in the condo pool, enjoyed the sauna and steam rooms, watched the Oscars on his huge TV, and enjoyed some great new (to us) restaurants in the hood. The light in the condo is fantastic, with floor to ceiling windows and thoughtful art on the walls. It's squeaky clean and very comfortable. It was sad to say goodbye to this place! Thanks Paul.
I had a great stay at Paul's. I was just returning to Canada after a couple of years abroad, and his (email hidden) to stay to get reacquainted with Toronto. The arrival was really seamless - I didn't have a phone and was exhausted, and Paul met me in the building lobby when I arrived from the airport. The studio itself was beautiful and very clean, with nice flooring and huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The pool and exercise rooms are modern and not very busy, and there are lots of good places to eat in the neighbourhood. I'd highly recommend staying at Paul's to anyone wanting to stay in downtown Toronto for a week and experience condo living! Thanks Paul!
Paul's apartment is very cool! He has enverything you need available - cable tv, wireless and a very comfortable bed. The building itself is fantastic and the apartment is just metres from the Eaton's centre, city hall, the subway and has a grocery store downstairs. Paul is great and gives you a tour of the apartment and facilities, he also leaves a map. I live in Australia and the next time I'm in town I will be contacting Paul again. Thanks Paul, we absolutely loved your apartment!
The apartment is very, very cute, very clean and very conveniently located. Paul (email hidden)eck in and out were very easy, and Paul made me feel welcome, showing me where everything was and answering all my questions. Everything was as pictured in the photos and as outlined in the description. If you are looking for a quiet, clean and convenient place to stay, do consider this apartment!
Paul and his friends stayed at our skiing cabin in the beginning of January 2013. Paul is an amazing guest and is very easy to communicate with. He responded quickly and was easy to get in touch with. He and his friends left the house as we asked them to, clean and neat. I highly recommand Paul as your guest.
Hope you had a nice stay!
Good communication and left the apartment very clean.
I highly recommend staying in Paul's hip little condo. It's a great base for a night out on the town without any of the noise or bustle of other downtown condos. His balcony is the perfect place for a bite to eat with friends in the summer or to have a glass of wine after a long day. His place is always clean, beautiful and stylish.
Paul (email hidden) and is more than happy to provide good tips on where to find the trendy cafes, best (ethnic) restaurants, and how to navigate the Toronto transit system. Our quest to find the best pizza in Toronto has provided him with a clear roadmap to some of the best and least known gems in the city. As a bonafide tree-hugger he also knows all the fun things to do outdoors in all seasons. If you are looking for something special, I'm sure he can point you in the right direction.
And, If you're lucky, his grandmother will have sent him some of her amazing chocolate chip cookies too.
