I have been traveling since I was very little.
Most impressing was a stay in Tanzania including working there while living in a little dusty village with a tanzanian family, climbing mount Kilimanjaro and visiting the most beautiful national park Serengeti... I love being close to nature but the vivid city life on the other hand is something I would not want to miss either.
Besides getting to see new places and meet people traveling enables us to gather new experiences and - in my case - satisfy cultural interests such as classical music, paintings, architecture, good food and foreign languages.
This is why I think airbnb is a great invention - apart from the mainstream way of traveling. While offering an own space this is the best opportunity to get in touch with interesting and open minded people who enjoy talking while sharing a good bottle of wine, showing the best places to eat or cultural hotspots, walk, spend time with locals and thus let the stay fully impart the flair of the city.
I am curious on what else the world has to offer....
