The apartment is a great place you should not miss if you want to go to bay area. The environment of the apt is quiet and it is very convenient for you to find food like Panera and public transportation nearby. The apartment is clear and comfortable. I am so happy that I can stay here for my spring break. Harald also is a great host provided me a lot useful information.
The location is awesome! Caltrain station, Target, Macy, grocery stores are all within 30 min walking.
The apartment is large in space, quiet and has a nice view to the little garden on the back of the building. The condition of the facilities in house are all good.
Overall, I would recommend this place to stay.
Great apartment! And Harald is also very nice providing assistance during the stay. Love it!
Our family was relocating to the US and we rented Harald's apartment for a month and a half. We loved it as it is very convenient in all aspects. It is located at the heart of Silicon Valley in a very quite and nice residence. All furniture in the apartment is brand new Ikea. Decoration is minimalist but everything you need is there. Even a microwave now! Shopping, restaurants, banks and parks are walking distance to make you life easy. You also have your own parking slot in the residence. Weather you are here for business or vacation, you should go for Harald's apartment!
Communication with Harald is fast and efficient. The place is very basic but everything the we need (some may miss a TV or microwave but didn't need any of that). A big plus is the gym which we enjoyed.
The location is good if you do business in Silicon Valley (SF is quite a ride though). What's great is that there are actually some places nearby that you can reach by foot (some restaurants and supermarket). Downtown Sunnyvale is suprisingly fun.
Overall, we had an excellent at Harald's place!!
The reservation was canceled 11 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This apartment is as described for the most part. A television and few more pieces of furniture would have made for a nicer stay-it is quite sparsely furnished but certainly functional.
Harald's communications were great-could not have asked for better.
The personnel in the apartment complex's office (you need them to get into the apartment) were quite nice and helpful.
The neighborhood is nice, seemed very safe, and setting quite pretty.
Convenient to restaurants - many within walking distance - and to transportation.
The two bedrooms (each with its own bathroom) are located at opposite ends of the apartment which provides good privacy.
I would stay again.
As it was the first AirBNB experience ever, I was very positiv surprised. The apartment is beautiful from location and it was a great time. All fine and good!
Harald communicates quickly which is a big plus. We had a few problems during our stay (wifi didn't work and early check in from the next guests) but Harald did everything he could to work with us.
Home is sparse. No microwave, no TV, basic lighting, but the apartment had everything else you need to make it a hub for the Peninsula region. Parking and laundry facilities are convenient to the unit and sounds during the evening are minimal.
Harald's 2 bedroom apartment is perfectly fine, exactly what you need if you are looking for a place to sleep in Silicon Valley. There is a pool at the apartment complex, which is great especially if you have kids with you. The building is a mid-70's five story apartment complex that hasn't been updated much, but is in perfectly fine condition. It is a busy place, a lot of young families, but not too much noise at night. The apartment is rather spare, but that means it is kept clean and tidy. There are all the basics you will need, but nothing "extra". All of it adds up to a great crash pad, perfect as a base of activities for the area. For the price it is a good deal. One more note- it is listed as being a 15 minute walk to the Caltrain station. This is not accurate- it is 1.4 miles away, which is probably a 25 minute walk. There is a bus which goes there- the VTA 55 bus. Staying here without a car would be difficult, as it would be anywhere in Silicon Valley.
Harald is simply perfect.
He treated my house as if it were his house and left it in perfect shape.
