Paul came with two of his guests and was very pleasant to meet.
He left the flat in very good condition and would happily host him again
Paul was easy and fun to communicate with. He and his group took care of our home and seemed to enjoy the place. He is welcome back to our home any time he is back in Austin.
An amazing guest. Quiet, clean, and very polite. An absolute pleasure to have at our place.
Welcome back at anytime.
Paul and his colleague were my first guests on AirBnb : very nice and honest guys! I would be happy to welcome them again.
Paul was a delightful guest. It was fascinating to hear about his travels and to follow his progress on (website hidden).
Paul was a fantastic guest, gamely helping us maintain our edge at our local pub's weekly trivia contest. It was a pleasure to chat with him about his travels and about our neighborhood, as well. We're looking forward to hearing more about his journey!
Paul's a good guest to have around: an amusing storyteller, a lovely man, a beer drinker, and a man with a face shaped like a moon. He's certainly comfortable staying with other people (he's had enough practice, I suspect), and is a lovely man. Though don't let him cook sausages. I did. That was a mistake.
A true gentleman. I met Paul while on his Twitchhiker journey and spent a couple of days with him while traveling through Sonoma County.
I thought it might be an awkward experience picking up this total stranger in San Francisco to bring him to my neck of the woods...on the contrary Paul was a delight, I felt immediately comfortable with him and would have him stay in my home in a heartbeat.
I have spent time with him on a subsequent trip he made out this way and can truly say Paul is an upright chap with great integrity and sensitivity to people. And...he's brilliantly funny...
Paul is the ultimate house guest. He brings witty banter, meaningful conversations and superb culinary skills (just try his bread sauce). He can be discreet to the point that you forget he's even there and yet the most engaging companion to have. He is friendly, fun and a joy to be around.
Paul is a respectable chap and a well seasoned traveller. I've had the pleasure of hosting Paul for a few nights on one of his previous jaunts and wouldn't hesitate to vouch for him.
Intelligent and Funny, Paul is a delight to know as a friend. He's one of them people who you just instantly like, and can get on with, regardless what the conversation topic is.
An all round great guy!
Paul is cheerful and enthusiastic - good at conversation (telling stories, inquiring about one's interests, sharing observations). He lives on the edge of wonder and discovery, keenly interested in place and history, connecting old with new, seeing all that can be seen, enjoying the world, most especially people, but also landscapes, impressions - the art of travel. We shared a road trip together when he traveled as Twitchhiker; he wrote about it in his journal and in his book - what a great experience for me. Paul has a keen sense of humor; he's a superb writer - thus he turns what would have been ordinary without him into something extraordinary and timeless. Even if he didn't write, any amount of time with him is a treasure, but that he does write makes his life so much more intense - and to be part of it - a huge joy.
