This B&B is conveniently located near the Colosseum, in a quiet residential street but not far from typical southern Italian restaurants serving pizza and pasta. (Our host recommended one which we went to on a few occasions because it was good, and not at all touristy.) The B&B is in a small, old (nicely renovated with wood floors and marble steps) apartment building. The host was away at the time and although we were told English would be spoken, her mother could only speak Italian. However, she was very helpful and sweet. With a combination of English/Italian, of which perhaps 5 percent was understood, we managed to ascertain how to get from A to B by her flourishing use of maps. The room was very clean, and the bathroom (which we shared with another room for 2 of the 4 nights) was also clean and large. It would have been nice to have had a little sitting area outside the room where we could drink and eat our Continental breakfast, and also a place to hang towels. But, all in all, this B&B is recommended.
