Lovely, friendly, helpful couple and Bob the dog will steal your heart, but his is firmly with his owners. Very clean and comfortable room, the shared bathroom is right next door to the room so easy to pop back and forth. Nice breakfast in a room that overlooks the garden and you can use the kitchen. Its an easy 10 minute walk from the station and was very handy for me.
Morten and Berit are absolutely phenomenal hosts! Their home was perfectly located for our week-long visit to DTU in Lyngby. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Morten, Berit (and Bob - possibly the nicest dog I have ever met). The private room was very comfortable, and Morten was kind enough to lend my wife a bicycle for her brief commute to DTU. Berit's homemade rugbrød was especially delicious. We would highly recommend staying with Morten and Berit when visiting Copenhagen, and will definitely be looking to return to their home should we visit again in the future.
I had a really nice stay with Berit, Morten and Bob. They made me feel at home right away, and I enjoyed my three nights in the big and cozy room very much. I will definitely recommend a stay at Morten and Bente's, and I hope to come back some other time.
Berit and Morten are a very warm and welcoming couple. I stayed 10 days at their home and enjoyed the comfortable room and their pleasant company. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, very close to the train station so that the CPH city center or any destination is easily reachable, and close to the DTU university. Berit cooks very well !! We had nice discussions about many places in the world and they advised me about a short ferry trip to Sweden.
I stayed with Morten & Berit (And Bob the dog) for two weeks shortly after moving to Copenhagen. They have a beautiful house in a very nice and convenient location, near to shops and public transport. They were very welcoming and really helpful, giving me as much advice and assistance with getting set up in Denmark as they possibly could. It made things a lot easier for me :-)
They provided a lovely breakfast every morning and we had many nice conversations around the table. The room is very spacious with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage space.
I would highly recommend staying with Morten & Berit, it will definitely be one of the highlights of your stay in Copenhagen!
It was my first experience with AirBnB. I was many times in Denmark.
Berit, Morten and Bob are very welcoming. I stayed approximately 3 weeks at their fantastic house. This house is perfect if you want to work at DTU and during the week-end you want to go to CPH city centre being really near to the metro station. They served a really good breakfast and they lent me a bike.
It was a perfect experience, I seemed to be at my home! I hope to repeat the experience!
Dear Berit and Morten, thank you for your nice moments in your house!! It was great to be again with you. Room and house is very comfortable! Breakfasts were tasty. And thank you for borrowing a bike. Have a nice life ;) Yours Nela
A really nice stay at Morten and Berit's house ! They are very welcoming and up to help. Mange tak !
Berit and Morten are a very warm and welcoming couple. I stayed 1 week at their lovely home and enjoyed the comfortable room and their pleasant company. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, very close to the metro station so that the city center is easily reachable, and close to the DTU university, which became even closer since they lent me a bike. Feels like i have now a home in CH :)
Back home again I am dreaming still a bit about the lovely holiday I had with my mom in Denmark. Staying at Morten and Berits place (and Bob, the lovely dog!) definitely added to that. In their lovely yellow house in an awesome old neighbourhood, near a church on a hill, we felt really like Danish locals and at home. Especially cause Morten and Berit made us feel so welcome, being warmhearted and easy going (great, interesting people), with drinks in our 'own' fridge, with putting every day our breakfast at the table (when they went to work), with homely made 'rye' bread (special recipe), and so on and on.
We felt also this lovely 'local' feeling, cause we stayed in Lyngby, nearby Copenhagen, instead of staying in the big city. The best tip, cause you park outside the city (for free, near their house) and you take the train, within half an hour your there. Or you go tho Louisana or the castle on which Shakespeare based his 'Hamlet'. Those places are really the bomb as well.
I am telling all my friends that there is a little secret in Lyngby and surroundings, good vibes :).
