I am a roving opera singer! When I'm not singing I love to bake cookies and cakes.
This year I'm hoping to go to Iceland and somewhere in the South Pacific.
My favorite destination that I have traveled to so far is Costa Rica!

First of all, the view is amazing! The main picture shows exactly what you see through the large windows when you get in the apartment.
Forget about the sofa-bed, it's actually very much like a real bed, and more comfortable than many hotel beds I've had around the world, so it's definitely not an issue, but actually a feature.
The location is great, far enough from Times Square that you don't get the crowds and the noise, but still close enough to walk there (or to a Subway line) in just a few minutes.
The bathroom was clean and tidy, and the shower was great, easy to get the right temperature and with more than enough water pressure.
Ashley and her husband were very nice and welcoming, and were extremely easy-going and relaxed people to have around.
I'd definitely stay there again!
I stayed with Ashley for three weeks and she was a very accommodating and welcoming host! Her apartment is beautiful, superbly located right beside the subway and close to gorgeous parks. I felt very safe in the neighbourhood even walking home alone at night. She and her husband Octavian were very kind about making me feel at home in their space and offering tips about the city and neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend her apartment to others!
The room was spacious and comfy with two large windows which gave a great breeze and it's 1 block from the subway. . My overall stay was great.. everything was smooth. Thank you
Ashley and her husband are very nice hosts. My wife and I really enjoy the stay. It is definitely a better choice than a cheap (under $150) hotel in NYC.
The room is big enough and convenient. Although it locates near the north end of Manhattan, nothing unusual there.
The only temporary incontinent is that Dyckman subway station is under renovation, the 1 train to downtown won't stop, one needs to either take the uptown bound 1 train for one stop and go back or take the A train.
Hi there, the room and the house were awesome and Ashley has been really kind and friendly with me. The appartment is next to the Cloisters museum, nice area to live.
Great house, great hosts! We had everything to have a great time in New York!
I stayed with Ashley for 2 weeks and enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Her apartment is very cosy with tons of light and space for hanging out. Ashley is a great host and made my stay very pleasant with little touches such as fresh flowers in the room, a Nespressso machine, granola and fruit to snack on. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom spacious and there was great water pressure in the shower. Wifi was fast although I occasionally lost connectivity (rare) but only for 2 minutes or so. Very convenient to the subway, grocers and places to eat. The neighborhood was safe and not as far from the hustle of New York as one would think. If you are lucky, you will get the chance to hear Ashley sing — definitely a bonus. I have no hesitation recommending Ashley's home.
beautiful home, great room, great bed, great shower, overall a great stay at Ashley's home! Good value for money, although a little far from the centre... but if you don't mind a train ride then I recommend it totally!
PS. Great coffee machine :)
Ashley is a gracious host and provides a clean and very comfortable room. Highly recommended.
Un bonheur d'avoir Ashley Becker Sous les toits à Montmartre!
Du sourire, de la simplicité....et la surprise d'un cadeau laissé à mon attention...
La maison est impeccable.. bref, je recommande cette hôte chaleureusement!
For anyone looking to host on airbnb, Ashley was the ideal guest...great personality, clean, and respectful of my home. It was a pleasure to host Ashley!
