I've stayed at a dozen Airbnb places in the past year and Deborah's house is my all time favorite. The pictures don't do it justice. This was our second stay and we're already planning our next!
Deborah is awesome. She can help make sure you make the most of the local music scene too. We never would have found Ooh Poo Pah Doo's and its great music without her!
We had a wonderful stay in Deborah's gorgeous and unique home! The house is beautifully appointed and decorated with fabulous artwork throughout. Deborah was very accommodating and easy to reach, if needed. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need (though with all of the amazing restaurants in New Orleans, who wants to cook?!), rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable and the living area is huge! The house is ideally located - close to the fun of Frenchmen St & the Quarter, yet far enough away that it's an oasis after a long day / night out. We absolutely loved the house and can't wait to return. Our only complaint is that we didn't book the house longer! We look forward to staying at Deborah's again soon!
I am constantly surprised by the marvellous hosts who make their properties available via Airbnb.
Deborah was a fantastic host , who gave us incredible guidance snd tips . Super - friendly and as for Deborah's house -- WOW.
We were 3 couples and we each had our own spacious bedroom , with desks for writing.
Beds were king size and terrifically comfortable ensuring a top night's sleep.
Downstairs is a full sized , fully equipped kitchen .
There is a large dining table , great to sit around and chat.there are comfortable lounges , day beds and a sound system that would not be out of place in a concert hall.
Deborah's property also features heaps of superb art through out.
We have all stayed in New Orleans on many occassions and unanimous consenus --Deborah's house - best ever. !!
Gorgeous funky open home. Immediately upon walking in we knew we were in New Orleans. Comfortable beds and good showers. We loved being on Frenchman St. So many fantastic music venues and bars within a few blocks. But with that you do get a little noise pollution late at night and early in the morning with garbage trucks, but nothing unbearable. Overall a fantastic stay.
Deborah's house was even nicer than advertised, and perfect for our four night stay in New Orleans. The house is located just a block from some of the French Quarter's best Jazz venues, and an easy walk to Bourbon Street, the French Market and a street car line. Light sleepers should bring ear plugs, because you'll definitely hear the nightlife happening outside your window. Deborah was accommodating and helpful with local suggestions, and kept in contact throughout our stay. We 100% recommend this charming and intriguingly decorated mansion, and hope to make it home next time in New Orleans!
Deborah's house is the way to go for an authentic live-in-NOLA experience. The home is at a prime location. There's a parking spot if you choose to bring a car. Her home is decorated so interestingly. Just know that there are basically 2 flights of stairs to the bedroom.
Deborah's place was the ideal AirBnB experience. She could not have been more accommodating and the house was perfection. The space is exactly as described; the courtyard garden provides a great hang out spot and inside, the book and music collection can keep you occupied for hours. Moreover, the location only adds to ambience, by far the coolest and most entertaining street/area/neighborhood I encountered in my travels. Do enjoy and partake in this unique experience. As I will continue to tell everyone interested in traveling to New Orleans, Deborah's place is the only place I want to stay during my future visits.
We loved Deborah's home! The location can't be beat and there was plenty of space for our group of three couples. It's much larger than it appears in the photos. The space is incredibly curated with art everywhere. We would absolutely stay here again. We went without a car and it was easy to walk to everything from the house. Deborah was such a great host. She's nearby and available if you need.
The house was fabulous and in the perfect location to fit our needs. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a great beginning to our family vacation before the Cruise!
Deborah’s house is simply amazing – not only is it bright and spacious, but her collection of books and music can keep you entertained for days. It has all the comforts of home, but almost feels like you’re in a museum with interesting artifacts everywhere you look. I stayed here with a group of friends, and we all agreed that this house was a million times better than any hotel. It’s also in a perfect location – all the sights and sounds of New Orleans are just a short walk away. Definitely recommend!
was a wonderful guest. She was very personable I enjoyed speaking with her and she was very clean. I enjoyed having her as a guest a great deal and I believe she will be a great guest wherever she chooses to stay in the future. I highly recommend her.
It was a nice experience to host Deborah and family! Communication was great and the apartment was left clean and tidy. We had a plumbing issue and everyone in their party was gracious and patient. We welcome Deborah anytime at the ChairHouse in Boulder, CO!
