Absolutely Perfection!! I rented Deborah home for my entire family to visit New Orleans for the Essence Festival Weekend. From the first day that I met Deborah while viewing her home earlier this year, she was very fixable and welcoming. She made my family feel right at home. The connection and chemistry was great.. Deborah is very professional, great sense of humor, and personable with her guest, she makes an effort to make sure you have everything essential to feel like an native of the town. My family just love Deborah to pieces and has become apart of my family... Much love and Gratitude....
Absolutely amazing home in a perfect location for exploring NOLA. We had everything we needed, the space was huge and beautiful and Deborah was a great host.
Deborah Luster is a great host - easy, friendly, direct, informative and helpful. Her home was ideal for our multi-generational family group with three adult couples and diverse interests. It is centrally located across from a charming park on Frenchman St. in the heart of a thriving music scene within easy walking and/or transport to many other locations of interest and fine dining. High ceilings, natural light, open kitchen, outdoor patio, reading loft, spacious bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, good water pressure and nice bedding all provide a fine respite. Especially meaningful to us was the opportunity to discover and enjoy Deborah's artwork, library, photographs, and fascinating collections and memorabilia. The "parade" that is life in NOLA passes nearby on Frenchman St. and for us it was good to feel such an integral connection here.
This is an amazing little (big) house on Frenchman Street that's the perfect venue for up to six people to explore New Orleans by foot. The house has three bedrooms + three beds and is a 5- to 10-minute walking distance to middle of the French Quarter in one direction, and the hipster hangout of Bywater in the other. On our last night, we even decided to bring food home and enjoy our last night together on the beautiful patio + spacious living room. Clean sheets, towels, and a clean house, and there's very little to complain about.
Deborah and her place are incredible. It's our second time renting it for about a week. We couldn't ask for anything more beautiful and perfect. Highly recommended. Incredible location, hostess, home, amenities, etc.
My first Airb&b experience, and I may not be able to top it. The house was incredible--such wonderful art, and fully stocked with what you'd need. We loved the location and didn't find it as loud as we feared from previous reviews (didn't experience Sat. night there though). Deborah was gracious and helpful. Would definitely try to stay here on future visits (and spend longer next time, I hope)!
This house is amazing! 6 of us stayed for a conference and we could not have had a better home base. The house is huge, has everything you need and she is a fantastic host. The location is perfect, frenchmen street was our favorite hang out. It is also only 30 min walk to central business district and 15 to the heart of the French quarter where we walked every evening for dinner etc. I never felt unsafe and walked alone at night a few times. Highly recommend this place!
So my only complaint would be that Deborah posts better pics of the place, because my friends and I had no idea we were going to be staying in A MANSION?!
Deborah was extremely accommodating and made this my most enjoyable airbnb experience to date! Definitely looking forward to staying here again on my next trip back to NOLA.
We came to New Orleans for a long weekend with a group of 3 couples. Meeting Deborah and staying in her beautiful home was an absolute pleasure. The house is gorgeous and the surroundings relaxing- especially sitting in the courtyard in between meals and walks. The rooms are all beautiful and very comfortable. The house is perfectly located in walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and music venues in the French Quarter, Marigny and Bywater. One of the best air b'n b experiences I've ever had- I'm not sure I want to stay anywhere else when I come to New Orleans now!
We had a fabulous time at the Fab Frenchman. The house had plenty of room for all of us to hang out during the day and evenings, and the architecture, art work, natural light, and proximity to the neighborhood and French Quarter made it a comfortable and convenient stay. We would love to stay again!
It was a nice experience to host Deborah and family! Communication was great and the apartment was left clean and tidy. We had a plumbing issue and everyone in their party was gracious and patient. We welcome Deborah anytime at the ChairHouse in Boulder, CO!
