I am a person who has many passions in life, but the most important are food, traveling and learning the early history of cinema.
Thanks to a scuba diving group of friends I was lucky to see places I never imagined like the South Pacific and Jordan. Unfortunately I haven't dived in 6 years but I still swim on a (more or less) regular basis and I am a fan of open water swimming.
I'm a declared TV addict, that's why I don't have cable TV and I only use my VCR (it still works!), DVD and Blu Ray Player to watch movies and series. Otherwise, my life would be (happily) wasted in front of the screen.
That's one of the reasons I don't have a FB account...I'll be stuck there for ever. The other is that I believe there's people one should never see again
I studied mass media and I've worked in different places. For a while I worked as a freelance writer for "Chilango" a magazine devoted to life, culture and entertainment in Mexico City. With them I made several guides to the best cantinas (typical Mexican drinking holes), love motels, karaoke bars, and even a dictionary of the Mexican 80's, and confirmed my deep love to the chaotic city I was born at.
Currently I am a freelance radio producer. I also do voice overs (until recently I was the voice you heard if you called IXE Banco and were left on hold) and I am the voice of a daily 5 minute magazine called Reaccion in Reactor 105.7 FM (IMER). I also teach the "prehistory of cinema" at CENTRO, a university dedicated to Cinema and TV, Architecture and Design
