We are from San Diego, but I am actually in Charleston finishing up my physical therapy internship this week. My sister (nursing student) is flying down this Saturday and we are taking a road trip up north.

Valerie and her sister Rachel stayed for two nights just prior to Christmas and it was great to get to know them a little during their time here.
On a whistle-stop tour of the north-eastern US, Valerie and Rachel managed to cram an extraordinary amount into two days in the Big Apple. Hats must go off to them too for spending a lot of time in Brooklyn given the short stay here - no spending every waking minute in Manhattan as is so often the case for New York tourists! From bagel pubs in Park Slope to bars and coffee shops in Williamsburg and the inevitable walk over the Brooklyn Bridge after a stroll on the Promenade, these giirls certainly took in some of the best that Brooklyn has to offer!
Valerie and Rachel were kind, friendly and great for a chat over a beer. It was interesting to hear about Valerie's many travel experiences thus far and they certainly whet our appetite for travel to both San Diego (their home town) and Charleston (where Valerie has been studying).
Valerie and Rachel were very clean and considerate during their stay here - it was hard to know if they were even in the apartment as they were so quiet! The apartment was so clean when they left it was like they were never here!
Valerie and Rachel were very patient given a late arrival on our side to the apartment and then to put up with a rant over delivery gone terribly wrong!
We would welcome these two lovely sisters back in a minute and would recommend them to any prospective host!
