I am a responsible, easy going, and creative guy. I keep my mind active by designing and creating. I design/build furniture, installations, and art. You will see a lot of my projects in this loft and I have been fortunate enough to get some commissions for projects across the globe.
I also I run a private sports training business for kids from 8 years old through high school. I started the business with some of my basketball teammates from Rice U. and we have been in business for 8 years now. Time flies! I have a considerable appreciation for music of most genres ( I know who doesn't) and enjoy playing the piano as well.
I travel as much as my schedule allows and prefer to take trips that incorporate outdoor recreation, culture and great food! I am not a big fan of winter, especially in Chicago, but I have spent years making my place as cozy as possible, at least for a large loft space, during the colder months.
I have a wonderful dog named Grace. She is a mix between a Lab and a Bouvier and she goes just about everywhere with me. I also rescued a kitten last winter and she found a way to make her visit permanent. Her name is Ponyo. She is affectionate and about as sweet as a cat can be in my opinion. Can you tell I am more of a dog person?
As a host I am very considerate to others. I will give you as much space as you need but will be always available for talks and suggestions on where to go and what to do while you are in Chicago, and if you play ping pong I am always up for a match!
