When travelling I love to visit museums and art exhibitions so my destinations are mostly cities but I also like to travel by foot in countrysides, carrying all I need in a backpack as light as possible. I did a bit of walking from one village/town to another in England and Czech Republic. In a day I cover at most half of the distance a real hiker would cover, but I am content with the different way of seeing things and landscapes and with a glass of beer at the end of the walk.
I love old movies and every year I try to see as many movies as possible at the Festival del Cinema Ritrovato in Bologna.
If I had to pick a favourite quote I would go for Oscar Wilde or, in my most wicked moments, Mae West. But let's not forget Groucho Marx: "time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana".
