I am originally from North Carolina, but have lived in Baltimore for 10 years. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar, and have worked in several countries in Africa, as well as Haiti. My husband and I both love to travel, and have made a point to do it as much as possible - we had a great month long trip to India together where we traveled up the west coast by train. It was truly amazing!
I work in public health at Johns Hopkins University, and my husband is a professor of Art History. Our daughter is 4, and is both imaginative and well behaved, plus is already a seasoned traveler...we've taken her twice to Cape Town, South Africa with us when we've gone for work.
We love to explore, and are generally morning people - with a little one, we don't tend to see much nightlife anymore. But we read a lot, will try nearly any new food, and make a point to learn what we can about a place when we are in it!
