I am an independent documentary filmmaker originally from L.A. but currently based in south Florida, where I am finishing two films examining contemporary art. I will be in NOLA once more before my new film screens at the CAC. It examines the impact that Hurricane Katrina has had on the lives and works of New Orleans-based visual artists such as Deborah Luster, Gina Phillips, Rondell Crier and others. I teach TV production and film history at NOVA Southeastern University.
