Description doesn't really match our experience. We had no contact with Helene besides AirBNB but her friend Gerard. He was a really nice guy that was willing to help us if we needed anything or wanted to help on how to get around the place or go to Monaco or the beach.
However, the apartment was another story. The bathroom shower had no covers, there was only cold water or scalding hot so you had to alternate to which one you could stand the most. The floor was a bit dirty and the WiFi signal had a 3 feet radius. During the stay, my little brother got bit by a bug at the apartment and had trouble walking. The kitchen and bedroom was not bad though.
All in all, great people, would not recommend apartment.
very good location, quiet area. near the market of vegetables and fruit in the morning. the hostess is very welcoming and friendly.
Due to the language we had a lot of comunicate problems with Helene, because she doesn't know English. I think the apartment would need to be more ordered, clean, and it needs some repair, for instance the shower.
Host is very kind and helpful. Location is very close to easy transportation. Good visit.
Nice and clean place to stay if visiting Nice for a few days. The tram was very close by as well as a small grocery store. Be sure to visit old Nice by getting off at Opera-vielle ville. Also try the local dish Socca which is almost like a crepe but giant and made with chickpea flour, very good street food. Helene offered to bring us on a tour of old Nice but it was raining and we were a bit tired from traveling. Helene was very nice and invited us over for dinner and a nice interaction with a local who talked about old Nice. Her young son Wallid was very pleasant and eager to help out.
