I am a fun, creative, energetic woman who loves to travel, cook, hike, and explore. I have a degree in Film, from Emerson College, with a specialty focus in Production Design. I am an independent documentary filmmaker by degree, but also work in education in both experiential education and special education fields. I have also worked professionally as a cook, a farmer, a florist, and an event planner! I love to garden, hike, kayak, cook and eat good food, explore new places, and be outside. My husband, Shawn, is an Environmental Engineer and works at a consultant firm in the Boston area. He is an avid home brewer, an animal lover, a science nerd, and loves snowboarding, playing softball and hiking.

We recently moved from a year in Vermont to the wonderful city of Boston. We are loving the change of pace and all the opportunities this city has to offer. We are both Michiganders at heart, and so, like most midwesterners, are pretty down to earth, easy going people who love making new friends, exploring new places, and generally speaking enjoy life.

We love to travel, and so know and value the ease of having some space to call your own while you are away from home. Some of our favorite travel destinations have been New Zealand, Israel, Czech Republic, Germany and Italy. No matter where we are, we treat our surroundings with respect and maturity.

We have loved our experiences hosting through Airbnb, and are sad that our current city living quarters do not afford us the space to rent to others right now. We met so many great people through hosting, and can't wait to be able to continue this tradition in the future- you know- when we make our millions and can buy a house of our own! For now, we are happy to be able to use Airbnb as guests, and look forward to treating our hosts space with respect and love. Thanks for your consideration,

Cheers!

Talia and Shawn
