I love my family, the mountains, trees, quiet, animals, ideas and conversation. I also have a studio in Julian called Studio Samadhi.

I was only there one night, but would have loved to stay longer. Quaint cottage had everything I needed. Christine was always available to me even when travelling. She made sure that I got the blender I requested. :) The town and area is gorgeous, too.
The cabin was very nice, perfect fit for my needs. So peaceful and a great location. Great host also, thanks
Had a great time at this mountain cabin. It had everything you need and was very clean. It's a very short drive into town and was a very relaxing weekend. I'd highly recommend it if your looking in the area.
Our host left a little note hanging on the door when we got there welcoming us and left instructions, maps, etc., to help us during our stay. The cabin is quaint and very homey. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.
This was my second time staying here and again it impressed me! Everything is so clean and tidy and the cabin is so quaint and enjoyable. My 4 girlfriends and I were able to cook a nice dinner and enjoy it as the sun set. The location is only a few minutes from town and Nickle Creek Brewery. The grounds were quite and pretty. I have a lot of great things to say about this place, hope to be back soon for the 3rd trip!
Little Pine was exactly what we were looking for. It is perfectly placed in Julian 2 minutes from town. The cabin itself was adorable, clean, charming and had everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked with stove, microwave, dishes, small fridge and utensils. The small little porch was great for warm nights and I loved the hammock. So peaceful we wished we could stay longer! Christine was very gracious, let us check in a little early and showed us around the property. We are planning to make it a family tradition to go up to Little Pine every 4th of July! Also have to say it is great to find a place that supports bringing pets, our two fur babies loved it too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Thank you Christine!!
Christine's cabin is beautifully situated on the outskirts of Julian, and was a lovely peaceful hideaway. It was a little cozy for 4 people, and might be better suited to two. Christine was very helpful and checked in with us to make sure that everything was well. The outside area in particular was heavenly, sitting in the sun while my son enjoyed the hammock swing is a memory that will stick with me!
We loved the Big Pine Cabin. Cara, the Caretaker, is awesome and Christine is both friendly and professional. We went up for a quick weekend getaway to see the Wolf Center and celebrate my birthday and were not disappointed! My daughter was delighted to sleep, and or read, in the little beds located in a sort of closet set-up, which was her favorite part of our stay, besides the tire swings, hammock and tree swing! We loved being able to bring our Golden Retriever, that was a wonderful perk of staying at Big Pines Retreat. The cabin is cute and very rustic, which is part of its charm. The outdoor seating area on the porch, with an hibachi, was a great place to sit and enjoy the steaks we barbecued. We were pleasantly surprised to find almost anything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and even toys and games in a drawer. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice, and affordable, place to stay in Julian.
Overall we had a good time at Little Pine cabin. The cabin itself is pretty small but it was a good size for us and our little dog. Everything was very clean and it felt very welcoming. There is a full little kitchen with cookware and pantry which was nice to have. The BBQ was pretty old but we managed to work it one of the nights. Overall I think the kitchen is perfect for quick and easy meals.
The covered front porch/deck with chairs was awesome, we spent most of our time there just sitting outside and enjoying the warm weather.
The one issue was privacy as the cabins and house are extremely close to each other. We could see guests from the Big Pine cabin sitting on their porch and we could see the family in the house on their deck as well. Since it was a hot weekend, everybody was out and that meant that there really wasn't any privacy.
We enjoyed our time! Clean and good location. We felt like we were in a tree house!
Christine and her family were great guests. It was fun to talk with them and they were clean, quiet and very respectful of the space. We would be more than happy to host them again!
This was the 2nd stay for Christine, and it was just as much a pleasure as was the 1st visit. Christine is an independent professional person and one that any host would love to have in their home. Clean, quiet, considerate, and caring... all those qualities and more. I hope that Christine manages to reinstate her local contract so that I might have her visit again. Thank you Christine! HIghly recommended.

Christine was a wonderful guest! She communicated well with me before and during her stay which always makes for a pleasant hassel free experience. Christine was so nice and personable. We had several great chats. She left the space perfectly clean! I would happily host her again and would recommend Christine to any potential airbnb host.
