Patricia arrived 24-hrs prior to her booking for personal reasons. These were the 24-hrs I had planned to prepare the house between tenants. I flew in from Barcelona where I live, specifically to receive them and make sure the check in would go smoothly since I had tenants before for 3 moths. I let her and her husband check-in more than 30-hrs before their scheduled check-in time explaining that this day would be used to prepare the house and I'd therefore charge a minimum of £50. I nevertheless felt bad for making them wait for the cleaning so I ran over to the best department store, purchased brand new 500-thread-count egyptian cotton sheets and towels for the beds, new toaster, new coffee maker and new kettle so they would not have to wait for the cleaning. I answered an average of 5 emails/text messages with additional questions and requests throughout her stay. I asked her if she would mind to have the house shown at a time of their convenience for 15min and she accepted. I have in the meantime added this in my property description. I am terribly sorry that despite having gone above and beyond in every aspect I could, Patricia was still unhappy. I had to fly back to Barcelona unfortunately. I wish I could have lived next door and be able to offer my help and services 24-hrs, and purchase more furniture to make their stay more comfortable. I always try and will do my best to make every guest happy, even at my financial loss.
