Five things I can't live without: International travel, best friends, awesome food, wonderful family, and TRAVEL!!
Liz was easy to work with. The place was great. Nice doormen and amenities. Would definitely stay again!
We stayed at the Loft's at Fulton Market for 5 nights. The loft was very nice inside. It easily slept 4 of us. There was one queen bed and the couch also made into a queen bed as well as an area in the upper loft area that could sleep 2 more. There was a kitchen and dining area for us to use. A large screen TV which came in very handy as the Olympics were on so we were able to enjoy it thoroughly with this TV.
The location was next to several excellent restaurants and the pink line was very close making an easy commute to the blue line, loop, and to downtown.
Liz was very accommodating and got back to us quickly with any questions that we had. The host Paul, who owned this loft was very helpful. He was there to greet us, show us the apartment, supply us with information about the area as well as get us extra bedding and towels. He also helped us to secure a cab when there we none to be had due to the weather conditions.
It was a great experience working with these 2 individuals and we would definitely use them again in the future.
This place was great. Liz was quick to respond and very helpful. The staff at the building are very friendly and the amenities are hard to beat. I definitely recommend it as a wonderful place to stay in Chicago.
The view from the place was incredible. Liz was easy to get a hold of and helped us through check in! The parking in the building was very convenient and the doorman was very friendly and nice. Overall great experience and I would definitely stay here in the future! This apartment was within walking distance to everywhere we needed to go, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. There's even a Starbucks and Trader Joe's right across the street! Very happy with our experience.
Amazing place!!! Why would you stay at a hotel when you can stay here. Location is amazing, work out facilities/pool/hot tub are also great. We will stay again the next time we are in Chicago. Thanks Liz!
I was travelling to Chicago for my 21st birthday and I brought my boyfriend and two friends with me. I really appreciated that the bedrooms were on opposite side of the apartment (not that that was a necessity, but it was comforting nonetheless). The layout is very easy to navigate even for four drunk people. The heating was a bit of an issue. There is a thermostat in the kitchen and one in the living room. It seems that the heating will directly go into whatever bedroom the thermostat is closest too and not necessarily heat up the general living space. The only other issue we had is that a couple of the towels shed horribly when we used them, but that was probably due to them being brand new.
It was a truly beautiful apartment. The pictures are accurate, but they don't give it justice. The floor to ceiling windows really help emphasize how gorgeous the view is and at night the whole city lights up. It has a beautiful glow and if you worry about it disturbing your sleep the blinds will block out the majority of the light.
We mainly used taxis (and ubers!) to get around. The nearest train station was a bit of an unpleasant walk (most of the sidewalks were covered with snow), but transportation wasn't a problem at all.
Liz was a dream to work with. I had originally selected one of her other apartments, but she informed me that it wasn't actually available for the days that I had selected. She worked with me on pricing and navigating the website so that I could be completely satisfied with with my choice.
Working with her is wonderful and so was staying at the LEX!
Wow. What a building! What a view. Description and picture were accurate. There is a doorman, exercise room with indoor pool and hot tub, coffee machine, pool table, and more! Rooftop view too! I utilized all of these things. :) Amazing location- maybe 8 minute walk to the bean, close to great restaurants and tons of shopping. It is only a studio which was perfect for me since I did take out and eat out and did not have to cook a whole bunch. But huge plus was the washer/dryer right in the unit and indoor parking in the building. Liz was very helpful and will even suggest places to eat. The only think I'm sad about is the fact I came in January- I bet in the summer, this place would be amazing!
Liz was perfect. Everything was as it should be. Keys were where they were supposed to be. Great shower. Fast internet. Nice TV. Nice temperature. No hassles.
Fantastic apartment and amazing location!
This is a must rent if you're going to Chicago, the apartment as high ceilings and spacious with windows all around, love it.
The restaurant below the Publican is awesome.
Liz was an outstanding host.
The building/location was absolutely perfect! The amenities were awesome (lounge, rooftop fire pit, swimming pools, gym, basketball court) and the actual condo itself had a great view. We spent NYE on the lounge and brought friends/family over, it was perfect! Everyone else that lived in the building was there as well and they were all super nice. The concierge people were always more than accommodating and friendly. Liz was always very responsive and even left us Orange juice and bread. There was also shampoo, a blow dryer and soap left for us..we came prepared but it was a really nice surprise that it was there for us. We would definitely come back when we visit chicago!
