ACTIVE, FUN, FRIENDLY. LOVE THE OUTDOORS...HIKING, HORSE BACK RIDING, YOGA, DANCING.
MY STYLE OF HOSTING IS CASUAL AND FRIENDLY. LIKE DINNING IN OR OUT. LOVE ANIMALS...HOUSEPET OR WILD THINGS (OF WHICH THERE ARE PLENTY AROUND MY HOUSE)..
Great experience. Casita was exactly as advertised and the resort community was tremendous.
There is plenty to do in and around the area. We would recommend this place and look forward to future trips to the area.
Our first Airbnb experience made us true believers. Judy's casita was wonderful. It was sparkling clean, comfortable and well-equipped for our two week stay. Water pressure in the shower was great. We left loved the patio with its large gurgling fountain and spent many hours outside reading and watching the road runners, quail, mule deer and jack rabbits. The patio was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun pink up the mountains.
Judy is lovely, witty lady who sat with us talking over wine and an hors d'oeuvres plate she put together. She was extremely helpful sharing information about where to go and what to do. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on. The only unfortunate thing was we had to leave. We'll definitely stay there.again, and look forward to our next Airbnb adventure. Barbara
This was a nice clean bedroom with kitchen facilities, in a lovely resort community.
We would recommend this place as a pleasant alternative to a hotel, but it was fairly confining, given the actual useable floorspace.
The photos seem to infer that the guests will have access to the areas shown in those photos, but that is not the case.
The unit has Ethernet access, but there is no wireless access.
There is access to a clean garage with remote keypad for your vehicle.
The Caseta was just what was described. It was a private space behind a house. Judy was a great host. We were able to use the amenities within the community. Judy is retired from Real Estate and was a great resource for looking at homes in the area. Judy gave us some good insight and tips about real estate in the area.
Overall, It was a great experience,
Fantastic! We felt like we had rented a private home. The back yard and deck were wonderful for sunbathing, sipping a glass of wine in the evening or coffee in the morning. There was always something fun to see - deer, rabbit, coyote, roadrunners, quail, etc. The Saddlebrooke community is stunning, almost surreal, offering three community pools, tennis, golf, restaurants, breathtaking views. Honestly, we were so impressed that we decided to buy a home in Saddlebrooke when we retire in a few years.
The casita is very clean. I loved the spacious bathroom and the large closet, which ensured we had plenty of room for our belongings so the main room never felt cramped for space. We left the door open in the cool evenings and watched the quail chicks follow their parents around. So delightful.
The hostess, Judy Roedel is a retired real estate agent. She graciously agreed to provide us information about the housing market over a glass of wine one evening. She's full useful information, and quite charming.
Obviously we would highly recommend this property. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and it seemed as if we had the entire property to ourselves. We will undoubtedly return.
What a lovely, perfectly appointed getaway! Judy was so helpful and accomodating. I loved waking up each morning to the beautiful mountain views and the sounds of the birds visiting her charming patio. The community has many opportunities for activities. I tended to spend one day relaxing at Judy's, and then took the alternate day for Tucson exploration. I highly recommend this site.
Response from Judy:
Thank you so much Stephanie!! You and Dexter were such a pleasure. Judy
Judy has a sweet little spot. Her guest house is well appointed, comfortable and clean. She is on the rim of the desert so one can walk and find bird nests in the cactus and see cottontails hopping by. SHe is a most agreeable host, flexible, interesting and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay there.
Response from Judy:
Thanks so much Mary Lynne... I really enjoyed having both of you here. Judy
