Jeremy's place was just as advertised, a very nice setting on a beautiful lake. We arrived late in the day, but still had time to enjoy wine and cheese we had brought with us on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The room was clean and comfortable. The double sink vanity in the bathroom was very nice as well. Jeremy was very accommodating and helpful, giving us a great recommendation for getting pancakes in the area the next morning. Because our schedule required us to leave early after one night we did not get a chance to take advantage of swimming, kayaking, or their hot but on this trip, but we would plan to do so the next time we return.
Peaceful location: By a peaceful setting with a lake front view. Relaxing place to sit and read. It was a bit tricky to find the entrance from the highway, so just have to keep an eye out for the landmark provided by Jeremy.
Nice host: Jeremy was nice and accommodating. We arrived very late in the evening from our road trip and he was there to welcome us. We didn't get to interact much since we also left early in the morning to continue our road trip.
Clean, airy, and romantic room but can use a little more privacy:
The room was clean and romantically set up. I was traveling with my friend (girl) so it was a bit awkward to share a bed (email hidden) and massage oil in the room. :-) The room has one big window over-looking the lake so it was nice to have the morning sun waking you up.
Since there were plenty of windows and openings, it felt a little too open. The window was big and had some curtains but the curtains are not opaque and leaves an opening at the bottom edge. The bathroom blinds don't close completely as well and it is across the parking area/front of the house.
Jeremy was very accommodating, responding promptly to all questions. We arrived late (around midnight) for Dartmouth reunion weekend and found the house warmly lit and tidy. Our bedroom/bathroom was clean. And although my friend and I are allergic to cats, we didn't have any problems the entire weekend. It was cold that weekend and I would recommend bringing slippers since there isn't any carpet. The view and surroundings are classic NH. I liked the coffee set out for the morning. I give hospitality all the time to friends visiting NYC and I think Jeremy did a great job. I wanted to stay closer to campus but it was only 10 min from Dartmouth and a peaceful drive without traffic.
Jeremy and his family were incredibly warm, accommodating, and friendly hosts. It was a pleasure staying with them, in their beautiful home. We enjoyed a lovely weekend, and the hot-tub overlooking the lake was a great way to relax our sore muscles after a long day of skiing!
Jeremy is a kind and welcoming host. The room was very cozy with an incredible lake view. Looking forward for another visit to Lebanon, NH.
Stayed with Jeremy while attending a wedding in White River Junction, VT. His place is SO great: hot tub, kayaks, lake frontage with a small beach, and lovely views of the lake from the bedroom and the attached deck. I'd absolutely come back...nice guy too!
Nice and clean accommodations, great views, and swimming.
The reservation was canceled 4 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Jeremy, his family, and cat (I think her name was Turtle?) were wonderful hosts - they could not have been more accommodating. The bedroom and bath were absolutely lovely and well situated in the home. As promised, we were able to use their kitchen and living room. Wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more amazing views of the lake and all the outdoor equipment (floating slide, kayaks, hot tub, trampoline), so we might have to make a return visit! Would highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay with a very lovely host. Our bedroom was roomy and quite comfortable, with a wide view of the lake and the starry sky. The attached bathroom was also convenient. We wish we could have stayed longer to have time for a swim or a dip in the hot tub.
Jeremy is a wonderful guest and we hope he'll return to stay with us a again soon!
