CONSIGLIATA!
The description of the room was fine, and for one person perfect. I even had a hairdryer in one of the drawers, that was a good treat. Carmel was very kind to send info ahead. A very kind host, thank's for the stay!
Carmel is a very nice girl. I went with my boyfriend to her house and we spend a very nice time. We arrived at night, It wasn´t early at all, and she received us very well. The bedroom is nice, warm, and the bed confortable. And the two things that you need when you're traveling were perfects: She give us averything to have a nice breakfast and wifi was working correctly!
The house is not far from the airport and not far of the centre of the city, you've to take the bus for each one, but she will send you a papper with all the information and all the details.
We enjoy our time there.
Unfortunately we had to leave early, but wished we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the comfy room which was absolutely spotless, and the bed was so comfortable. The toilet and kitchen areas were also completely spotless, despite the fact that these areas were open to guests to use too.
Carmel was so friendly and welcomed us well. She was very understanding when we had to suddenly leave. In the room Carmel had left a really useful information card that is really helpful if you don't know the area (like us)! Carmel was very approachable and really made you feel like a friend staying in her home.
The location of the house is perfect, close to shops like Asda, small independent cafe's and of course, Penny Lane (a very short walk away). Taxi's to the city centre, The Beatles Story and Anfield Stadium were all under £7.50, very cheap and quick service.
Overall I would MASSIVELY recommend Carmel's home for any kind of stay in Liverpool. We were shocked at how high the quality was, especially for the incredibly cheap price. Carmel is a really lovely lady and I would love to stay again.
I have not one single fault with my stay.
Thank you for such a brilliant and stress-free stay Carmel.
Carmel is very friendly and I enjoyed my stay in her place. She's very kind to introduce me the city when I arrived in the first day, explaining the places I could visit in Liverpool. Glad to have the chances chatting with her.
The neighbourhood is nice. Though it's not located at the city centre, it's convenient, just 15 mins distance travelling by bus.
The room was very nice and we enjoyed the stay in Liverpool. The bus connection to the city center was very good. Thank you Carmel.
Carmel was very welcoming, lovely room, nice having own TV (shame couldn't get radio 4 very well on Sunday morning, but not really a problem.) Slight minus was waiting for the loo in the morning when others using bathroom, and the amount of water they splashed about! but not Carmel's fault! There was a good sign in the bathroom about keeping shower curtain closed so as not to make puddles! Very kindly took care of my camera I managed to leave behind until I could collect it a week later! Thanks Carmel.
Even though I didn't meet Carmel in person, my check in went very smoothly and the room was very comfortable, with great amenities provided!
I stayed at this house, on and off, over a number of weeks because of work. The fact that I always wished to stay here after my first visit speaks volumes. The house reminds me of the house from the comedy 'Bread', which I understand used to be quite popular in Liverpool and that in itself makes this an interesting place to stay. Carmel leads a busy life so I didn't always meet her but when I did she was friendly and welcoming and her instructions beforehand were clear. Although the living room was unavailable the bedroom's I stayed in were clutter free and clean. There was a nice TV in each room and they were warm. Each time I stayed at this house I got a good night's sleep and anyone else I met who was staying there was friendly and respectful too. The kitchen was clean and helpfully, Carmel supplies tea, coffee and breakfast. I was reticent about booking this house the first time because there was no off street parking. Don't let this put you off however, because I always felt my car was safe and I always obtained parking close to the house. In fact the area generally seemed safe and reputable. The house is also convenient in that it's within a short walking distance of a retail park that includes an ASDA, Home Bargains and an Ember Inn pub. Outside of the retail park are plenty of other eateries including some funky restaurants. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a comfortable stay and a good night's sleep.
Carmel was polite and gracious with a passion for chocolate!
SIMPATICA ......me encanto conocerles, exageradamente ordenados limpios, gracias.
Carmel, was a first class guest. Very clean and tidy and respectful of my house. She was very friendly and has a great personality and a fantastic sense of humour. She also shared her ideas about renting out rooms, all of which were very helpful. She also made me an absolutely superb banoffie pie which is out of this world. I would be more then happy for Carmel to stay with me again.
