Hey there! I live in Charleston, SC and call the NotSo Hostel (and Annex) my home and happiness. I love traveling, reading, cellos, photography, and my little mop dog/muppet/hostel bouncer, Saatchi.
Nicole is nice girl but, with little latitude to consider one drawback fairly
Nicole and Jeremy are very warm and friendly people, and a delight to be around. I know Nicole more than I know Jeremy, and I can honestly say that she's one of the best persons I've ever known, she's always wearing a smile and willing to share it with you. As for Jeremy, he's a great guy and a amazing complement to Nicole. Together, they are the cutest couple. But if you don't trust me, just look at the pic!
Having stayed with them in Charleston a handful of times now, I can say Nicole and Jeremy are pretty much the ideal hosts. They are welcoming, interesting (and interested), and easygoing. You can count on them for a good conversation and some good cooking, to say the least.
I trained Nicole when she began working at Notso Hostel many years ago. I secretly wanted to hate her youthful exuberance but I also wanted to be her best friend, and today, here we are: best friended. She is the kind of person you want to go on adventures with, who you want around you always, who wants to hear your story and always finds a peaceful middle ground. She is a person you are lucky to meet and someone always up for something new. I couldn't imagine a better travel partner or a better temporary dweller in my home. She is respectful, personable, and lovely. And Jeremy? I've known him slightly less time than Nicole but have found him to be quite wonderful. He is peaceful and insightful, he is usually found with a spatula in hand with some wonderfully inspired meal a-brewing. He is a calm and wonderful human being, and together, these two might take over the world, one city at a time. Or just be excellent candidates for Airbnb.
Where can one possibly begin with Nicole and Jeremy? They are both incredibly wonderful people with a high regard for hospitality, good food, and the world they live in. Nicole is extremely knowledgeable about the Los Angeles, Charleston and Buenos Aires areas and is an excellent hostess/tour guide/travel buddy. Nicole's creativity knows no bounds and she always manages to capture the beauty in the world around her through her photography. Jeremy's appreciation for art, nature, and international cuisine make for hours of conversation over his latest culinary creation, accompanied by laughter and good wine.
