I'm a graphic designer/illustrator/custom-letterer. I co-own my business of over 6 years. Not to talk about my business too much, but I think it helps reflect who I am to a large degree. While we do work for big national clients with money, we try to spend as much time as we can doing work for smaller clients here in Baltimore who don't have much or any money to pay us, because we want to support other local artists, creative institutions, filmmakers, bands, etc. who are making this a city worth living in.
In my spare time I read a lot, go to shows, play in bands, make flyers, screenprinted posters, art, hang out with friends at bars, movies. The usual stuff an early/mid-30s guy that went to art school does I guess? I'm really into the outer edges of American pop culture (the history of comic books and their suppression, crime, Appalachian southerners... I grew up near where Deliverance was filmed).
