I am originally from Portland, Oregon. Traveled to Kazakhstan, France, Russia, Germany, and Thailand. I enjoy cycling, cooking, and hiking.
Ryan was amazing. I was in a bind when I arrived in Seattle and he was able to let me rent his place the same day. Very friendly, flexible, had a list of his favorite local places to check out. His apartment is located in the heart of Capital Hill and within walking distance of pretty much anything you want to see in Seattle. There is a Top Pot Coffee shop and a Starbucks a block to a few blocks from his place. I would definitely stay there again!
First time visiting Seattle so I wanted to do it Airbnb style. Ryan's place was super convenient and close to the bus stop giving us access to the entire city. There were a lot of hip bars around his apartment, all within walking distance. There's a small convenient store less than 50 ft from the complex too so if we ever needed anything, it was easy to get to. Overall, the Ryan's apartment was exactly how he described it. We had a blast! Ryan was also very accommodating as we didn't check in until almost midnight.
Great first airbnb experience!
Cute older studio apt in prime Capitol Hill location, very clean with nice unexpected touches like the lavender scattered throughout, luxury bath soap and the chilled bottle of champagne and beers Ryan left in the fridge to welcome us.
Ryan was a great host--welcoming and accommodating of our early arrival, a good source of tips for local coffee shops and eateries (fabulous bakeries just down the street btw), and responsive when we had questions during our stay. He even offered up his rain gear for our use, since we had neglected to bring anything with us and of course it rained.
We walked to Seattle Center and Pikes Place--20 minutes to each, as advertised. Parking in the neighborhood can be tough to find, but the location was great otherwise. No TV, but we used our Netflix account so not a big deal for us.
Thanks again Ryan for opening up your home to us and for a great airbnb experience!
Ryan was a great host, very accommodating and communicative, not to mention going the extra mile for things such as a list of under the radar fun places to see and eat. The apartment was great with a nice view (just like what you see online), a nice location in the city, and the rooftop garden / hangout was the perfect cherry on top. I absolutely recommend staying here.
My daughter and I had so much fun in Seattle and a big part of that was being able to stay in the downtown/First Hill neighborhood. His apartment was clean, had an amazing view and Ryan gave us some terrific restaurant ideas. I can definitely recommend Ryan and his apartment. Make sure you check out the rooftop - gas BBQ's, sofas, and what a view of Mount Rainier, the city and harbor!
I could not have asked for a better experience! I have done airbnb before, with my wife's profile, and I have always been happy. Staying in Ryan's place, however, tops everything easily. Firstly, the apartment was perfect for my need. I was at a conference at the convention center, that's less than a 5min walk away. A couple of blocks behind the apartment is Capitol Hill, downtown is also very close by. The apartment is in a new building, with gym and gas grills for roof top cook-outs!
Secondly, the main asset is Ryan himself. Just the friendliest, most helpful guy ever. He even picked me up at the airport, and went to receive my delayed luggage the next day! He keeps his fully equipped place very tidy and clean. He also had several good ideas about things to see and do in Seattle.
To summarize, I feel privileged to have gotten a chance to stay at Ryan's place.
Ryan's apartment comes with my warm recommendation.
This worked out perfectly. I was in town for a conference, and the apartment is a very quick couple of blocks walk to the convention center. The apartment building has rooftop access, and the view is very nice; it was great to hang out up there (when it wasn't raining). Last, Ryan was very helpful and keeps the place very clean.
Ryan and his lovely companion were awesome! They were super cheery, fun to chat with and they even tidied up their suite. They also brought us a coveted gift (fresh bread from the Mazama Country Store Bakery) from the far reaches of our BEAUTIFUL Valley.
Ryan stayed with us over New Years and was a wonderful guest.
Ryan was a great guest, super communication! Left the house very tidy. Thanks for your visit!
Ryan was a pleasure to host. Communicating with him was a breeze and everything went perfectly.
Ryan is a great guy! His mom stayed at our place and Ryan was the one I met and interacted with. He communicated well and his mom took great care of our place! We will love to host her again!
Ryan was a great guest, left our suite in really good condition and was very respectful of the amenities of the farm. We hope to host Ryan again in the future!
Ryan and Erin were exceptional guests. It was our pleasure to host them and hope we can do it again in the future.
Ryan was a good guest, he stayed with a friends over the weekend to attend a weeding but they left the apt clean as the found it. I would happly host him again.
This was a first time AIRBNB experience for us both and its going to be a tough act to follow. Ryan was appreciative, thoughtful, clean, curious and just plain good company!
Rest assured if you are considering renting to Ryan, that his momma brought him up well. He even brought a wee house-warming gift! Open your doors to this bright, kind, adventuresome man!
I relocated to Seattle from New York for a job this March, and sublet Ryan's place on First Hill in Seattle for 3 weeks as I was getting settled. The whole experience was really lovely -- Ryan's a great guy, super easygoing, straightforward, and nice; he even offered and picked me up from the airport! His place is clean, uncluttered, comfortable, modern, and centrally located -- I had a great time exploring Seattle from this home base. His building has a gym and a great community rooftop with a heated seating area and there's a nice coffee shop across the street where I had my morning coffee every day. I'd highly recommend staying in Ryan's place. The kitchen is equipped with anything you'd need and there's even an washer/dryer right in the apartment which was super, super convenient. Awesome experience.
