If you have any questions or queries about my listing then please let me know, I'd be happy to answer them. I've lived in this area all my life so I know it inside out and will be happy to provide local knowledge.
My friend and I have spend really good time in London in part through the apartment. We are happy with our choice of apartment, it looks like description and photos. We recommend this choice !!
Nice place, clean, hot water, close to subway. If you are planning on taking taxi's use Addison it is much cheaper then flagging a black cab down on the street. If you are taking taxi to/from the airport schedule a pick up in advance will save you significant money (I paid $160 to get from the airport in taxi)
David's apartment is a very comfortable place. It is very well looked after and clean and it has a very good bed (it has two, actually, but I only used one) and a nice shower. As I had to be in east London for my work, it was perfectly situated for me, but also the rest of the city was very easy to reach. Terry was very welcoming and accurate. I can really recommend this place.
The apartment was perfectly situated for our weekend in London, well equipped and comfortable.
We were greeted and looked after very well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A perfect location if you want to explore East London or the City!!
Nice position, nice apartment, super!
All the good things you read in the previous reviews is true! We had a brilliant stay. Nobody mentioned the huge 46" TV :-)
We came by car, so off-street parking was a big bonus too.
Tip: take the 25 bus just outside from Bow Church DLR straight to Oxford circus. Takes a bit longer, but much more to see.
Another tip: if you fancy a good curry, go to Zeera Restaurant at Mile End tube station (15 min. walk).
We can really recommend David's place!
Great stay for the second time. One of us went running in the neighbourhood and discovered some picturesque surroundings. Again, place was clean, neat, the sheets smelled fantastic, and kitchen very handy for some self-catering. Extra towels were very handy especially for longer stays.
David's apartment is lovely - looks exactly like the photographs, lots of space for four of us, and well-equipped. Terry was very helpful, gives great advice.
There is a convenience store right across the road, a delicious Indian eatery with great naan, curry and chicken tikka, and a huge Tesco's about 10-15 minutes' walk away. It's a few blocks to the Tube, (email hidden) walk.
It was summer when we visited, so we watched the sun setting from his balcony deep into every night.
This spacious flat in East London (looking out at Olympic Stadium) provided a lovely start to our recent trip to England and Europe. The flat easily slept four and was a simple 5-10 minute walk from the tube. The host's assistant was on site when we arrived, and was very helpful in explaining the workings of the flat. Plenty of hot water, nice kitchen. My only critique is one that concerns the sparse feeling of the flat itself--no art on the walls, no books, just a few touristy pamphlets stacked in a pile. I think a few simple decorative touches would make the flat feel more homey and less "hotel" like. Overall, though, a wonderful, spacious apartment and one that I would certainly book again!
The apartment was fabulous, and that area of London was culturally very interesting.Terry was terrific, so accommodating and I would recommend him to any tourist for his services. All appliances, conveniences, beds, etc. were most suitable and comfortable. We found train connections, info, etc., perfect. One would do well to (email hidden) across the street (the orange pub), and not the one on the north side of the street
Thank you for choosing to stay at my flat Dave, and thanks for keeping it so tidy. It was pleasure to have you!
