This was a great little apartment with a wonderful location, two blocks from Smith Street where you will find so many different restaurants. Although it is a fairly busy area parking was no problem. The apartment itself was clean and nicely appointed and equipped. Emma kindly left a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. I had come to Brooklyn to help out my son and daughter in law who just had a baby. I would definitely return to "Cozy Carroll" in the future. BTW the bed was very comfortable! Thanks Emma.
We were greeted with a lovely bottle of red wine. Emma's flat
is very comfortable and well equipped. Emma was friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay.
The apartment was great and clean and in a wonderful area. Communicating with Emma was really easy, which always makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Highly recommended for people seeking a stay in a relaxing, unique part of the city.
I'd highly recommend Emma's apartment. It's located in between the beautiful neighborhoods of Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill both complete with great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and grocery stores. This part of Brooklyn is lovely with its traditional Italian restaurants and groceries as well as historic brownstone buildings. Getting to and from Manhattan is just 20 mins away on the F train which you can take from the subway station just a 5 minute walk away. The apartment is lovely; very tastefully furnished and ideal for a couple looking for a relaxing break. Emma was very hospitable, leaving a bottle of wine out for my arrival as well as some other groceries and was always available to help should I ever have questions. I'd highly recommend her apartment.
I rented Emma's apartment for my parents who were visiting for 2 weeks. It's a cozy, clean and comfortable one bedroom on a great block in the cobble hill/carroll gardens neighborhood. Emma was easy to communicate with and I would definitely recommend staying here.
Emma was very responsive to any questions that I had and the apartment was so nice! Cozy, clean, and a great location. My parents who came in from out of town stayed there and felt extremely comfortable and loved the place. I would definitely book it again for any other visitors coming to down.
I booked Emma's place for my parents to stay near me in the neighborhood for Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful experience and they loved it. Her place was beautiful, modern, clean, and welcoming. The location is great too -- quiet, tree-lined street, and close to the F and G lines.
Beautifully presented, well equipped and in a quiet area, Emma's apartment was a delight to return to each evening. Emma was readily available to answer questions and provide helpful suggestions. We loved the neighbourhood, the organic market and the quirky cafes. Although not far from Manhattan, we found the distance/travelling time meant once we left in the morning we had to remain away for the day in order to see as much as we could during our visit. Highly recommended!
The neighborhood was fantastic -- we loved the community feel with all of the small restaurants, bakeries and stores. The apartment was 5 minutes from the subway and the whole neighborhood was very walkable.
The listing was accurate. The apartment was fine.
Emma made us feel welcome enough. She left us a nice bottle of wine.
My wife and I spent two weeks in Emma's apartment in Carroll Gardens. Having had two previous apartment stays in New York in Manhattan we decided to sample Brooklyn. Emma's place is a traditional brownstone apartment in a quiet tree lined street a million miles away from the noisy streets of Manhattan.
The apartment was as described with a comfortable bed and a spacious lounge room. A well stocked kitchen enabled to have some meals in the apartment. However Carroll Gardens has many great local restaurants, cafes and pubs within walking distance of the apartment. Emma provided a handy information book about the apartment and the surrounding environment.
Emma was available for any questions and we appreciated her being available when we locked ourselves out of the apartment. During our second week there we had a friend stay with us and there was ample room for her sleeping on the fold down couch.
Carroll Gardens is only 4 stops on the subway from the bright lights of Manhattan and should be explored by travelers looking for something different in their holiday experience.
Emma and her family was a pleasure to have as our guests. They comes with our warmest recommodation to the airbnb community.
Emma and her guest were fantastic. They did everything a good guest should do! Very easy to communicate with and very respectful. It's great when you have good guest that stays at your place, you feel more at ease! I would gladly have her over again!
Emma was a wonderful guest. She had a large party of 12 renting the home and it was left in great condition. You wouldn't have even known that there were several children at the house. Everything was left as stated in the contract. She was very friendly and communicated well. Great overall experience! Definitely a respectful renter and would recommend her for any home.
Emma has a terrific one bedroom apartment in what is arguably the best neighborhood in Brooklyn. Super-convenient and tastefully decorated, this is a terrific location from which to explore the city. Emma and her family are wonderful, super-responsive hosts. My wife, daughter and I regularly stay in the area, and now that Emma's unit is available, we'll definitely be using it.
Emma is an amazing host and her recently renovated brownstone is awesome. Perfect location. We'll be staying there soon.
