We had a very nice stay on Signal Mountain, only a few minutes from town, with stunning vistas just across the street in a private sculpture garden. The breakfast food, including a delicious bowl of fruit, was an unexpected treat. Mattress was not too cushy, just the way we like it. All in all a very nice stay. Thank you Susan!
My son and I had a wonderful stay at Susans. Accommodations were perfect!! We loved exploring the park across the street and our dog had fun playing with her sweet little puppy Magnolia! We would love to stay again next time we visit Chattanooga. Thank you!!
This house is in a great location- and it's a perfect place for a family to stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. There's even a screened-in back porch to enjoy the very private back yard. We really enjoyed being there!!
Great value for the price!
Incredible. Made my husband and I feel very welcome. Food and coffee provided was incredible, and she is very accommodating to any requests. Dogs are extremely sweet.
My wife and I were visiting family in the Signal Mountain area over the Thanksgiving weekend. We wanted a convenient, comfortable place on the mountain that was reasonably priced. Susan provided everything we were hoping for and then some. And the mountain view looking over Chattanooga from the park across the road was beautiful. Thank you, Susan, for being a wonderful hostess.
Great place to stay while visiting Moon Pie city! Lots of fun things to do in Chattanooga and Susan's home was clean, comfortable and just as advertised. The location is amazing on top of the mountain with fantastic views. Just be prepared for a curvy drive up and down from town.
We enjoyed the accommodations. Though we shared the common entrance, the sitting room, bedroom, and bathroom provided were private. Every need was thoughtfully anticipated and provided for with style. The sitting room also provides a table, coffee maker, a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. Ample dishes, etc.. are provided. Coming soon is a kitchen area sink. As of now, if you need to use a stove, Susan graciously shares her kitchen. And I cannot fail to mention the yummy breakfast materials provided. Something for everyone's liking I would imagine, from cereals and home made biscuits and muffins, to sausage, bacon, and eggs, as well as fresh fruit.
The house is in a nice area for taking a stroll with a nice park across the street and quiet roads. Just 10 minutes into Chattanooga.
No complaints! We would certainly stay again.
Great host, great location. Will be back!
My husband and I really enjoyed staying with Susan on Signal Mountain. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and Susan was very welcoming and helpful in giving us suggestions for things to do during our week-long stay. We were able to hike some lovely trails, go to the Mountain Opry, eat at local restaurants, and walk/meditate in the beautiful park with a view of the Tennessee River that's across the street from Susan's house. Plus, we were close to the places in Chattanooga that we wanted to see--we had the best of both worlds!
The breakfast foods that Susan provided were wonderful--and the berry muffins were a tasty treat. Her two dogs, Nutmeg and Magnolia, were very friendly and we enjoyed our contact with them. The guest suite has a door that separates that part of the house, so the dogs were not a problem at all.
We felt safe and cozy in our 3-room suite--it was very relaxing and stress-free. We're glad we stayed at Susan's instead of at a downtown hotel--we loved being in a quiet neighborhood with lots of natural beauty and charm. We would definitely stay with Susan again!
