When I arrived James welcomed me and helped me with my heavy bags. The whole apartment is really cool and I liked my room. It's small, but very cozy and was perfect for me. Everything was clean and I was allowed to use the kitchen, fridge and I could store my food.
By subway it's easy to get around and there are Supermarkets and Delis closeby.
James' roommates are also very friendly and invited me to join dinner with them.
All in all I had a good time and would definitely come back. It's a cool place for less money :)
James' place was conveniently located near the subway and the room was great. (website hidden) were also nice.
So many wonderful choices on Airbnb, but I am so glad that I chose to stay here. Checking through JFK took a lot longer than expected and without a phone I was unable to contact James to tell him I would be late. I was welcomed in with a big smile and was made to feel at home straight away. The room was perfect; simple, but clean and with a wonderful view of trees through the window. Lots of clothes hangars in the cupboard (what a girl needs) and a super comfy bed. James and his (website hidden) are a really lovely and interesting group of people. They offered great advice on places to see and the best way to get there. The subway was only a skip away to start me on my adventures into Manhattan, Queens, LIC and the rest. I really did love Brooklyn as well and enjoyed that I was staying right out of the main tourist area although it was so close to get to. Thank you so much James et al for being such great hosts for my Wonderful Week in New York. You guys rock!
James and everyone in the house was very welcoming and helpful. The room is quiet and comfortable and the house is well situated for getting around Brooklyn. I had a great time staying here and think you will too!
First of all, this location is recommended. James, his room-mates and downstairs neighbors are nice and open people. It is easy to get along with them. So it's perfect for a short trip to the City.
I really enjoyed my stay at James’ house in a typical Brooklyn neighborhood where it was safe to walk down the streets at night. The house itself looked like the classical Brooklyn house: classical facade with a staircase leading to the front door. The atmosphere in the house was laid back. The house was clean and all necessities were within walking distance in the neighborhood. I found James and his roommate Diana to be friendly and helpful and great conversationalists from time-to-time.
It is a very pleasant accommodation(housing), in a pleasant district near Manhattan, close to the subway
Everyone are kind and helpful and welcoming very good stay spent in this place
It was great staying at this place! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming! I was offered food and drinks several times and everyone was very helpful in general. The house is clean and comfortable, the room small but very cozy. Made me feel at home for the short time I spent there.
My stay at James' was fantastic, everything is as described. The apartment is close to the subway line, supermarket and restaurants. The neighborhood is lively and i did not feel worried about my safety at any moment. The highlight of my stay was definitely the people staying at the apartment. James has probably some of the best roommates I've ever met. They made me feel right at home!
Everyone was very nice and friendly and the house felt comfortable.
Easy guest, quiet and did not need much from us. Would recommend
