I was born and raised in Brazil, and moved abroad when I was 18 years old. I lived 10 years in the US, 1 year in France, and 10 years in Switzerland.
Currently, I live in a tiny beach bungalow in the south of Brazil, where I savour my lifetime writing (poetry and fiction) and doing photography. Another part of my life is about being inspired through travels, starting from my second home base in Zurich, Switzerland.
I'm in a beautiful open relationship. We I have no children. I'm an easy-going person, spiritual without religion, philosophical without intellectualism, an aesthete and hedonist in a simple way, a multiculturalist and a very open mind. I'm fond of long slow conversations with substance, and know also how to enjoy a casual chat. But I am not a chatterbox type.
I speak fluently English and Portuguese, very good Spanish, medium-good German and Italian. I have taught English as a second language to buddhist monks in Nepal and to kids in Brazil. I'd be happy to teach both English and Brazilian Portuguese on a casual basis, wherever we may be.
I read an unhealthy (for my eyes) amount of books, and have an (healthy for my soul) eclectic taste for music. Images (photography/video, paintings/sculptures) are one of my essential nourishments. I am a bit of a gourmand in the kitchen and on the table too. To me cooking is a universe in itself, and conscious cooking is pleasure, art and meditation combined. Brazilian and Southeast Asian recipes are my specialities. A little surfing and a little snowboarding are my sports. And I have a strong step: I can walk for weeks (never tried months, but think I could handled it ;)
One of the reasons why I like to live by the ocean is that a horizon is silence for my eyes. Equally, silence is a horizon for my ears. I love both, but I also love to share stories, experiences, and all that've learned about this-thing-called-life along the way.
