The house was quite large and beautiful, with plenty of books to keep you occupied.
It is also just a few minutes walking distance to the bus, cafes and an amazing chip shop.
However, the best part of the experiee was Paul's generosity. Would definitely recommend it.

Paul was a great host! Very friendly and easy to talk with.
The house was very comfortable and clean.
The house is close to a lot of different bus route, only a brief walk to the shops and in a very friendly neighbourhood
Thanks again Paul
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, well priced room close to Fremantle and shops. Paul was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks again
I had a short but very pleasant stay at Paul's place. Paul is a fantastic host who instantly makes you feel at home and is implicitly trusting.
The room is quiet, away from traffic noise, and at times when I was in the room I was lucky enough to listen to Paul's saxophone resonate throughout the house. Even if you're not knowledgeable about jazz, it is quite moving to listen to Paul's music. Thanks Paul!
If you travel a lot, then sometimes the feeling of having a home disappears. If you are looking in Perth for such a place, where you can take time for your own retrospective and you want todo that while listening to the beautiful sound of jazz, you should look for Paul Pax. I have always felt very comfortable and welcome and rarely slept in such a peaceful atmosphere. Paul is a very interested character with many stories that I liked to listen. Home is where your heart is, and thats what you can find here, between art, music and relationship....You are searching for a bed, but you will leave with a friend...
It was also great to meet you Dennis.. We had a few things to share and that was rewarding. Happy travels my friend.
Hi had a short ,but wonderful stay.Paul is a thoughful host.
It is a quiet place and easy to get to by bus.Allways would come back.
Paul is a likeable host very easy to get on with and a
wicked sense of humour.Room is basic but comfortable
has all you need except tv but didn't bother me.the fact a band sometimes plays in your front room more than makes up for it.
Hope to return sometime
Great Stay! Thanks Paul.
Handy to public transport, easy to get into Fremantle and Perth from here. Paul is a marvellous Saxophonist. I chose to stay in at night time specifically to listen to him play.
I will take that as a compliment, then.
You must be independent in the quiet location. You will be left to your own devises by Paul, which was good for this traveller.
Paul will help in any way he can and provide what is described .
No frills, but has all that you need
Paul was a great guest - hardly at the apt - very warm & chatty when he was!! Cheers Deb
