I am a kind and friendly person who has lived in New York for the last 29 years. I practice yoga and meditation daily. Yoga teaching and Shiatsu massage are my profession. I also work as a personal assistant and professional organizer. Performing arts is my love, and I am a vocalist and dancer. Bilingual in English and Japanese. Originally from Osaka, Japan. My first hosting may not be perfect, but I will listen to my guests and keep improving my service for my future guests.

I used to use an air bed for two very good reasons:
(1) High quality air beds have a reputation to support us well if we have back problems. I myself suffered with the discomfort for 10 years. During the time, I tried different kinds of bed. With extra layers of foam pads, the air bed earned my confidence. No foam beds and futon I tried came close.
(2) As a host, I am providing different guests who don't know each other with the same bed. What does this mean? Being sensitive to energy as a healer, this means that you are sleeping with a stranger, but only at different times. Beds observe energy of the sleepers. The air/energy of the air bed is easy to cleanse. I would like to give each of my guest a fresh bed with fresh sheets.

As of February 2014, my bed is upgraded to a high quality bug-resistant foam bed. Bug-resistant feature is very important since the guests tend to be travelers. (Travelers can bring in bedbugs from the hotels they stayed.) After each use by my guests, I use hot air (using a professional hair dryer) to treat the surface of the bed to clear the energy. I find that my sleep is even better than the air bed I used.

My strict house rules reflect my awareness in health and in the environment. You can tell, I do not rent my place out to just any body. In New York, many people are success oriented, and running around everyday. Clutter in the house rarely makes them feel at home. They rely on TV, alcohol, and pills/drugs to relax themselves. On another hand, New York City is a perfect place for practicing our spiritual self while living in the temporal world. Why not give yourself a gift of both - an exciting city and peaceful home. As a healer, I strive to create healing environment. When you walk in, you will not find my home. You will find yourself...Your True Self...your true home.
