Running Jacaranda Studio & Suite B&B from 2006, in the past I used to be a free lance project leader for software developing, as well as a philosophy and literature student when having free time. My husband Alfonso and I love old Italian houses, and we fell in love with sunny and full of trees Palermo Viejo´s streets in 1994. So we moved there and started to renovate old houses, and to see our children grow.
We decided to change our home into a B&B in 2003, after the 2001 financial crash in Argentina. Palermo Soho area started to be a new tourist center in BA, until now that is definitely the place to stay for young bohemian people. The vibrant vibe of the art & crafts market in the streets, sophisticated restaurants and bars, new trendy stores, and art galleries, make this neighborhood the best election of many visitors.
In those days we renovated and moved to Casa Thames in 2005 and lived there for 7 years, but now the house is too big for us and we have decided to rent it an give other option to our many guests and to new ones.
We love this house, so we carefully designed each room and thought of every detail as if it were to receive our friends.
We also try to help our guests to make the best of their trip. Buenos Aires is a wonderful destination and a cosmopolitan affordable city, with many things to offer to all kind of visitors and Argentina is a wonderful country.
Would be a pleasure to receive you in the future...
