From Madrid, studying at the University of Edinburgh. Looking for nice places to stay when traveling around Europe (usually with friends).
We'll clean up after ourselves, and be respectful of your flat.
Simply looking for a home away from home.
Great position and views, quite a hike up if you have luggage, and you need to know the ins and outs of parking there, but when you do no real (website hidden) After 6.30pm pay for as much time as you need for the morning and it will issue you with up to 3 hours parking for the following morning ie up to 11.30am.
Our only concern was that it felt a bit like a student flat rather than what it could be and the overall cleanliness and tidiness reflected this. It was certainly not presented as professional accommodation should be and the WiFi did not work, although we had limited success from the flat below in some areas of the flat
Me and my family stayed in Andrea's apartment for 3 days. Andrea and David were so helpful. The apartment was great. It's clean. And the location's great. Especially the view, it is so beautiful. I really recommend it. We're definitely will stay there if we go to Edinburgh again. Thank you Andrea and David.
The apartment was clean and nice and has been renovated recently. We stayed there only two days and we chose it mainly for its location. It is just in the middle of the city. Everything can be done by feet, and there is a lot of shop all around the place.
We loved staying in this adorable walk-up flat in the heart of Edinburgh. Beds were comfortable, the apartment was huge! Shower and tub were both lovely. The location could NOT be beat, right in the heart of the best restaurants (try The Dogs, around the corner - delicious!) and shops and easy walking distance to castle and attractions - barely three blocks to the Royal Gallery and the park in the center of the city. And amazing views of sunsets on the castle, can't be beat!
It was such a gift for our family stay, three true bedrooms with big beds meant our crowd of four could get a break from staying in the same room and teeny twin beds.
Andrea and David were darling hosts and genuinely helpful and friendly. They made our stay very easy. We would definitely stay here again! And recommend it to friends.
Notes: it is definitely a true walk-up, a full three-and-a-half stories, so be ready for that; and floors are a little crookedy, since it's an old building. But the stairs are wide, the beds are huge, and the flat is very adorable and even fashionable!
you and your friends left the place so tidy. It only took 30 minutes to clean up the apartment. It w as really a pleasure having you and your friends staying at my apartment. I wish you and your friend al the best .
Andrea is a really kind, open-minded and welcoming person. She loves to travel and meet new people and have new experiences. Her family's windmill in Mallorca is absolutely beautiful. It is comfortable and unique. I have stayed there with 7 friends and we had a truly memorable time. It is the perfect home for a holiday in Mallorca, be it with friends or family!
