Things I love: Food, travel, technology, startups/building companies, shopping, movies/TV shows, basketball, tennis, the outdoors, meeting people, learning new skills, board games, puzzles/trivia/problem solving and puns.
I grew up and have lived my entire life in Palo Alto, California (near San Francisco). I majored in astrophysics, but lost interest after college and jumped into the Silicon Valley startup scene. 3 years ago I started a mobile technology company, Guidebook, which occupies most of my time (so I haven't been able to travel as much as I'd like). However, now that the company is up and running, and stable, I've made making time for travel a priority.
As a guest, I'm very easy going and clean. All I really want is a space to put my bag, a bed to sleep on and access to a shower. As a tourist, I like to wander around cities by foot without much of a plan -- I really love food, so I generally spend a lot of time finding where locals eat and trying all of the regional specialities. I enjoy meeting and getting to know people, but am also happy to keep to myself.
I believe people should do what makes them happy and live life with as little stress as possible. If you're not happy, try something new!
Countries I've visited: Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, England, Wales, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Vatican City, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Maldives, Australia. I'm American, so I've been all around the US (including Alaska and Hawaii).
