A beautiful place close to major attractions in downtown San Francisco that is able to house 4 adults and a kid comfortably in 3 bedrooms. This place is ideal for families with small kids, as there are toys to keep the kids entertained. Public transportation will bring you to the city centre: Union Square, the pier areas are all easily accessible via tram. For those driving, garage space is available that fits a standard size car. The only minor gripe is that the upstairs neighbour kids do get a little noisy in the morning when they are preparing to go out, otherwise it is a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood.
We didn't get to meet Patrick, the host, but he left a very detailed set of information for us to get around the house and neighbourhood for the week we stayed there. Overall it was a great place to stay to explore San Francisco.
This is an ideal place for a family visiting SF. A spacious 3-bedroom apartment, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. As described, the neighborhood has some of the most beautiful homes in the city and a nice assortment of restaurants. It is 30-minute or less by bus to all the major sites.
Patrick is a great host - we were met immediately upon or arrival, and all emails/questions were answered promptly. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!
We had such a wonderful time in San Francisco during our first visit there and part of our great experience was to stay at Patrick's house. The location was convenient. From there it was easy to visit downtown, Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach etc also by public transportation. The house was really lovely and comfortable but also practical. We enjoyed a lot about our time in there! There were enough space for five people. Preparations for the visit went really smoothly and easy with Patrick. Thank you Patrick!
