Manfred's apartment was a very nice place to stay at in Dublin. The room was a 15 min walk to Trinity College/Temple Bar district and though not centrally located, we enjoyed that it was a quiet apartment building and neighborhood. We loved the cafe downstairs, Il Valentino. We did not get to meet Manfred, who is the host, but his flatmate, Peter was accommodating. The bedroom was a good size for two people who spent most of their time out & about. The bathroom was huge and those facilities worked great.
Manfred made me really feel at home: he is a comforting person. He also knows Dublin very well as he has been around for quite a while. I will certainly recommend his place for friends to stay while in Dublin.
This place is very good, clean, and nice location. You can walk to the city center and other tourist spots within 10 - 20 mins. Manfred is very kind and flexible. He gave me some info on how to get around Dublin as well. Really recommended.
Manfred was a great host, very friendly and relaxed. The flat was clean and very tidy with everything you would need for a pleasant stay. I love this area - it's really close to the citycentre but is quiet and attractive with great cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
I had a great staying at Manfred's and his flatmate Peter.
The room is confortable and the flat in a good location, next to the canal and the city center.
Manfred was very nice and helpful.
I recommend it !!!
Manfred was a great host, very easy-going, friendly and he had loads of advice which I appreciated. He directed me to a free walking tour, which was one of the highlights of my time in Dublin, and lent me a map, which came in handy when my phone died.
It was a nice apartment in a great location on the Liffey river. Only a 20 minute walk to the middle of town, but there were plenty of taxis and buses passing by when my feet grew tired on the way back after a very long day of walking.
Manfred was a great host and very willing to help out during my stay with him. The apartment is in a great location it was very easy to get around. I would definitely stay with Manfred again. Thanks your generosity and good luck with everything.
Perfect location and really nice apartment. You don't need anything more!
The apartment was in a very nice spot and within a short walk to the heart of the city.
The space was as described and the bathroom was a good size.
Manfred was away during our stay - but Peter was around and always happy to chat or answer questions. We made dinner in the kitchen twice during our stay and it had all the essentials. Also there is a grocery store practically attached to the building so you can get anything you need easily.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Manfred was a very gracious host. He was welcoming and inviting, and I had a great time interacting with both Manfred and his flatmate, Peter. The listing was in a convenient location, accessible to the city center via a quick taxi ride. The waterfront view was fantastic, which was perfect location for a stroll or a run (weather permitting, of course). I would highly recommend staying with Manfred.
Manfred and Thomas were an absolute pleasure to have stay with us. They were very friendly and polite and interacted well with our other guests. We would be delighted to have them stay again (and again!) and very much hope to see them again soon. Thank you both!
