Aloha from Kauai!
I work hard, but I love to have a good time, go to the beach and just plain hang out.

Tamara was very friendly and welcoming.
The room was comfortable and we could use everything we needed in the kitchen if we wanted. There was also snorkeling gear for us to use and extra towels.
We did the Kalalau trail and Tamara dropped us off at the trailhead and picked us up when we finished it. She even brought cold beer for us as a surprise after the trek!
Her roommates Joe and Judy were also very nice people.
We felt more than welcomed and enjoyed staying at your palace. There was lots of useful beach stuff we could use. We really enjoyed hiking at napali coast and all those beautiful beaches arround. All dinner recommendations were a real treat after all the trails we did! Thank you!
Staying at Tamara's was a nice experience. She was a great host and driver and even brought us back and forth to the trailhead of Kalalau Trail. Thanks again for your effort Tamara.
Tamara & Ally were friendly hosts. They made us feel comfortable in their home & Ally went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed.
The location was very convenient and central to exploring all sides of the island! The home is located closer to the rainy side of island and as it is on the ground floor, it does have a musty smell to it. I am very sensitive to smells and had a bit of a hard time adjusting to this at first. The room can get quite warm but if you don't mind the noise of the fan, you should be fine. The noise of the fan was actually a welcomed noise for us as it blocked out the sound of the roosters who were up at all hours of the night - they don't call Kauai "Rooster Country" for nothing, they're everywhere! The futon is a bit creaky and is not recommended for anyone over 6' tall - your feet will be hanging off the side, end of the bed (there is a wooden edge in the middle of the futon).
Thank you Tamara & Ally for your hospitality! Mahalo
Tamara's place was great. She and her roommate are the sweetest people in the world and we felt right at home for the week. Her location is also perfect for exploring the North, East and South shore of the island.
Why stay at an overpriced resort with tons of other people and unnecessary amenities? Stay with Tamara!!
This was actually the worst place I've ever booked with AirBnB. The room was cramped, hot and dirty and the bed was small and uncomfortable. The fan was super loud - it was actually a table fan mounted to the wall and didn't oscillate, so we had to sleep with the patio doors open (and they don't lock) and the roosters were crowing right outside the door from about 2:30 am on. Worst of all, there was a huge cockroach in the room, and as we were trying to kill it, the biggest cane spider I have ever seen appeared - and then ran into the bathroom where is disappeared behind the toilet. I didn't visit the loo again that night. We slept (barely) with the light on and were up and out of the room by about 5am.
Tamara is a very welcoming host! I stayed three nights at her place. The futon is very comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the north or south shore of Kauai.
Tamara's place was great for my purposes. I arrived late one evening and left the next morning to hike the Napali Coast. It was very clean, tidy, and simple. Tamara's roommate was very friendly, and Tamara went out of her way to lend me a hand before I even arrived. Her place is easy to find and well located.
