Dina was a great host! This was my first time using Airbnb so I didn't know what to expect but everything turned out fantastic. Dina was very communicative. House was in a fantastic location. House was exactly as was expected from the pictures - an older home, but clean, inviting, comfortable, a fun and great place to rest your head at night while exploring New Orleans. If you stay at this house, ride the street car to the French Quarter, it stops right outside the front door. Thanks Airbnb!
I didn't have a chance to speak with Mark, but the communication with Dina was excellent. We spoke several times before our arrival & she emailed great instructions. We could not have been more happy. The house was awesome, very large, larger than the pics show. It was close to everything. We never moved our car after we arrived until our departure. Dina gave us great advise on trolly which literally run by her house. It was a easy breezy trip. I would recommend this house 100%.
My group loved our weekend at this house! It's very spacious - high ceilings, 3 large rooms to lounge in downstairs - the living, dining and family rooms that are all open to one another, and the 4 bedrooms upstairs. Having 2 bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs made it easy for 6 women to stay comfortably. You do have to be open to sleeping in children's beds but we found all of their rooms clean and charming so it didn't bother us. Besides we spent most of our time downstairs and in the city. It's walking distance from a grocery and liquor store and 1 block from the street car line. However we ended up cabbing everywhere and that worked out well. I definitely recommend staying here - it's a lovely, safe neighborhood and nice to see the homes and shops on the drive to and from downtown.
Dina and Mark's house was perfect. The sleeping situation was better than we'd expected (more comfortable, more bed options). Dina was an incredibly warm and welcoming host, and very concerned with making sure she met all of our needs. The house is huge, and is very comfortable for 7 guests. Honestly, we loved the house so much we ended up spending way more time inside than we'd expected.
Thanks for sharing your house with us!
This home is very nicely located and in a lovely setting. Lot's of great space inside and out!
We really enjoyed our stay at Dina and Mark's charming home. It was very easy to communicate with them and the house was clean and very spacious. The proximity to the St. Charle's line is definitely a plus. We would love to stay there again in our future visits.
Dina was so gracious and friendly for our stay - showing us the house and helping us with local restaurants and attractions. The house has SO much charm - beautiful hardwood floors and high ceilings, in a great neighborhood very near to the trolley that takes you downtown. Also close is Magazine Street for shopping and eating. All in all we loved the place and loved being in New Orleans. Thank you!
Dina couldn't have been a nicer, more helpful host. Her house is lovely and was perfect in terms of location and size, easily accomodating 5 guys for a bachelor weekend. She left us a 6 pack and bottled water, and plenty of coffee, all needed and appreciated!
Dina and Mark's house is absolutely beautiful and the location cannot be beat. They are also very accommodating. If you are someone who does not appreciate older houses, you might not be thrilled with the bathrooms and the kitchen, but it suited our purposes well and apparently, they are going to be updating the stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator, which would make the house even more desirable. It is also wonderful for kids. There are A LOT of toys. Thank you Mark and Dina and we hope to rent the house again in the future!
Perfect New Orleans experience! A beautiful uptown family home, walking distance to parade routes, right on the street car line. The Zeldens met us when we arrived and showed us around their perfectly clean home, they gave us fun tips, and even bought us a king cake for Mardi Gras. If you want to live the real New Orleans family life, there is no better place to stay.
sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Alles hat ohne Probleme funktioniert
