This is the first "miss" in terms of a guest that we've had on AirBnB. Katherine booked 4 nights. On the 4th night she called to say she was checking out early (leaving the next day which is what was scheduled on the calendar) and wanted a refund for the day she wasn't going to stay. She also said she was unhappy with our accommodations because the neighborhood was "rough." Rather than point out that through AirBnB there's a 24hr cancelation policy before checking in, or that she didn't even pay for that night so we were actually refunding that night, I decided I'd write a check after I got back from a business trip and mail it to her (she had already offered her address). The next morning Katherine decided she couldn't wait and my wife had to turn around (heading to work) to write her a check on the spot. These were all rather minor inconveniences, but combined with a cold attitude about the whole thing added up to a general negative vibe.
