Life is meant to be enjoyed!
Karen and Stuart were great guests. They were fun, friendly and we very much enjoyed sharing our home with them. They live in a beautiful area of Washington state and are considering doing airbnb themselves. If they do, you should definitely book with them. Karen had visited Hawaii on several previous occasions but this was Stuart’s first time in Hawaii. Unfortunately, it rained pretty hard while they were here but they still managed to find some sun along the Hamakua Coast north of Hilo during one of their many excursions. Also, we were just one stop during their visit to the Big Island so they had plenty of other opportunities for sunshine. While they were here, they did plenty of sightseeing but we also got to enjoy their company on the lanai each night, sharing stories over drinks. We had another guest arrive during their stay and we all got along great. Rocky even made fresh fruit smoothies that everyone enjoyed. We were happy to learn that Karen was familiar with Ho’okena Beach (a very local, very cool beach on the south side of the island) and that they actually camped there before arriving at our home. They also visited the relatively new lava coastline at Uncle Robert’s in Kalapana among other things. We were happy to host Karen and Stuart and would love to host them again the next time they find themselves in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We would also recommend Karen and Stuart to other hosts. Thank you, Karen and Stuart.
