This was my first experience with Airbnb and it did not disappoint. Nick was super responsive and the stay was wonderful. Great location, easy access to public transportation, restaurants and site seeing. Would highly recommend renting from Nick if you plan to stay in SF!
Nick was a great host and the apartment was charming. He left some great tips on restaurants/markets in the neighborhood and public transit, and even left some fruit for my arrival. When he heard there might be some construction on the house, he thoughtfully forewarned me, even though it was never a problem. Great location, great host, would definitely stay again!
I never got to meet Nick during my short stay, but he was a great host nonetheless and provided some great suggestions on things to do. Loved the neighborhood and the quiet, peaceful street. The apartment was very comfortable.
Never met Nick but he left the apartment immaculate with flowers, wine and food to increase my comfort. Easily able to reach him by phone to ask a couple of questions. Really a delightful stay. My only problem was reaching the key -- I am short! Neighborhood was great and within easy walking distance of good restaurants.
Nick's studio was an absolute pleasure to stay at. I found it not only convenient to the Muni, but also a short walk down to the Castro (though the walk back up the hill is a calf workout) however it's a $6-$7 Lyft fare back. The studio is nestled in a very quiet street which allowed the windows to be open for fresh air without the city noise.
There was a warm welcome note when I arrived, and a fresh towel. If you have dress clothes or clothes to iron, plan ahead. No iron available which certainly wasn't a deal breaker or reason to complain. I didn't look but there likely is a convenient dry cleaner or laundromat nearby.
Nick's studio apartment is truly "wonderful"! It's spacious, immaculate, filled with light, beautifully decorated and well appointed, and so very welcoming and comfortable. It's in a lovely neighborhood and close to everything - restaurants, transportation, shopping. Nick is an absolute pleasure to deal with, the perfect 'host'! I highly recommend this apartment and can't wait to return! :)
This was my first Airbnb experience and couldn't be better.
Nick's place is great, loved the location and loved the place itself which was very cozy (almost felt like home to me).
Altough I haven't met Nick, he was very helpful and the one time that I didn't know how to handle with something in the apartment, he answered very quick, almost immediately.
He even left a note with some great recommendations of things to do around.
Would definitely recommend it.
Exactly what we were looking for! Nick is an amazing host and his place is so adorable! Tucked away in a little nook of the haight this studio had a lot of character and was very close to many amenities. Stay during the bluegrass fest in golden gate park and the location was perfect!! loved the clawfoot tub, big comfy bed, cute kitchen and coffee station. The windows looking over the street. Definitely would stay again and highyl recommend.
Great price for what you get!
Nick's place was great, has a good vibe, and is in a really great location right by Haight Street and Cole Street and is close to the N train that goes to downtown, Market Street, and the Embarcadero. Nick was super responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was safe and has a good feel. If staying alone is preferable to you, this is the place since it's a studio apt. I'd stay here again for sure!
I spent 3 days in Nick's studio at the tail end of a 3-week stay in the Bay Area for work. The cozy feel made it the perfect place to end my trip! Nick clearly has really great and eclectic taste - I loved all the photographs and decorative details. The neighborhood itself is nice and quiet with short walks to Cole St. and Haight-Ashbury. Finding a parking space was not too difficult and the street does not have the 2-hr non-resident limit that is standard amongst most San Francisco neighborhoods. I would definitely stay at Nick's place again!
