[Doing this quick, so here is my professional bio.] As a Massachusetts native who spent the last 10 years in California, Montana, and Colorado (and 25 countries traveled in between!), David has worn many hats in the nonprofit world: executive director, communications coordinator, program director, project manager, volunteer coordinator, and event coordinator. He is especially passionate about movements rooted in community building and healing and open source technology. David also has his own web business working with local businesses and small to midsize nonprofits. His passion is to help organizations use the power of innovative technology and internet marketing, so that they can spend more time serving their mission. In a previous career, David worked as an Underwriting Analyst for commercial earthquake and flood insurance. David has a B.S. in Mathematics and Minor in Economics from Stonehill College in Easton, MA. This spring, he will complete a Masters in Environmental Leadership at Naropa University, an interdisciplinary and contemplative-based program that explores environmental justice and sustainability at individual, community, and global levels.
