I am a Southern Californian living in Sydney, Australia. I did my undergraduate studies at New York University in Manhattan where I majored in Media, Culture, and Communications. After completing my degree, I did some traveling with Club Med, where I worked on the circus team teaching and performing high flying trapeze and aerial arts. I have worked for several trapeze schools and companies, and my love for aerial arts took me to Ixtapa, Mexico, Cancun, Mexico, Istanbul, Turkey, and throughout the US. I loved all of my trapeze travels, but after a few years, I decided I wanted to do something a little different. Still eager to travel and experience new countries and cultures, I applied for a postgraduate program at the University of Sydney. I am currently half-way through my Masters in Health Communication. My father is a physician, and my mother is a nurse, so I continually find myself in a very health-conscientious environment. It is my dream to work for the World Health Organization, as I see the WHO as the pinnacle of international public health and health communication. I am fortunate to be able to work as an intern at the World Health Organization Europe Regional Office for three months, and I could not be more excited about this opportunity and the chance to spend some time in beautiful Copenhagen.
