Very much enjoyed hosting Tom and Cindy. They are welcome to return any time.
Thomas and his wife are pleasant guests. They survived the cold winds the day they arrived and seemed revived by the next morning. I enjoyed chatting with them over coffee in the morning. They're welcome to stay again.
It was nice to chat with Thomas during the breakfast. They arrived one hour earlier than the check in time and luckily I got out off my office earlier that day.
Roseburg is a quiet/small town. No pubs, night life as other big cities (Las Vegas for example). People come to retire and enjoy peaceful, slow, relaxing daily life, mild weather, fresh air/water and green nature. There are some County Fairs and U-Pick fresh fruits in spring and summer. It is a place for travelers takes a rest before they move forward.
About coffee, I prefer fresh coffee bean than instant coffee if I serve it. However, since there is no one drinks coffee in our home, the coffee bean will get spoiled quickly after I open the bag. Instant coffee is unhealthy and I don’t give my guests the food that I think it is even not good for my own health..
I do serve high quality tea, juice, hot chocolate, but no coffee and milk. Sorry.
Thank you for the reminding. I add “NO COFFEE” in “extra details” to remind my guests.
It was an inspiring chatting with Thomas about his art. Enjoy the rest of your trip and hope Cindy feels better from the Crater Lake cold wind.
Thomas and Cindy spent a splendid night with us and generously shared their art work and life stories. We enjoyed getting a glimpse into their lives and work and appreciated our brief meeting. They left everything in fine order and were pleasant guests.
Mr. Zarrilli is a great host, like a family member. Thank you for choosing us.
