The apartment was tiny but charming, in the heart of Saint-Germain/Saint-Sulpice. It is in a lively street with many little bars and restaurants. The hosts were very informative and had left a packet of information about the apartment and area in the apartment. They were also very kind and accommodating about an unexpected late check-out time.
The apartment was equipped with all necessary hardware - coffee pour-over, dishes and flatware, iron, fan, etc. - but you'll have to bring your own kitchen and bath supplies. No laundry facilities, but there is a laundromat nearby. The wifi worked well. My trip was in early summer and the room did get pretty hot, even with the fan.
All in all the hosts were very kind and welcoming, the location was perfect, and the apartment very cute. Thank you so much for the stay!
I believe its the best location in Paris. Sant Germain is very centric and it has great atmosphere.
The apartment is very operative to stay a weekend for example and is equipped with all which was listed.
The apartment is small, but adequate and in an excellent location. The street is animated but the bedroom is quiet. The proprietors (who I didn't meet) appeared to be well organised and efficient.
Nathalie's flat is located in a fabulous and vibrant neighborhood with tons of great restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and other shops. My husband and I spent a lovely four days wandering through the neighborhood and beyond.
We never met Nathalie but the instructions she provided regarding how to enter the building and the apartment itself were flawless.
The flat itself is quite compact but was adequate for the two of us. The purpose of our trip was to be out and about in Paris, enjoying the city, so we didn't end up spending that much time in the apartment, anyway!
The flat is situated in the rear of the building, which means street noise wasn't an issue (useful for jet-lagged visitors!). On the other hand, because of its location at the rear of the building, the flat is a bit dark. Since we didn't spend much time in the apartment it wasn't a big deal, and in fact the duskiness helped out with the jet-lag situation!
Everything else about the flat was great. The only other hitch we ran into was that the wifi wasn't working for the first day or so of our stay -- but when I contacted Nathalie about it she had a technician come in to fix the problem. It was very nice that she was able to deal with the issue so promptly.
Thanks for a great visit!
Nathalie & JJ were awesome! They made it so easy to get connected with them, and checking in/out of the apartment was a breeze! The apartment is exactly how it looks in the photographs! The location was SUPERB - definitely our favorite part! Located off a happening street lined with cafés all of which were perfect for stopping in for a quick bite or drink. The nice area made me feel extremely safe at all times - and safety was one of my highest priorities! I can't express how much the apartment and it's location positively impacted our stay in Paris! I would definitely visit again! Thank you so much for accommodating us!!
We never got a chance to meet the landlords, sadly, though we did communicate over the phone. Everything went well in regards to the arrival and departure.
The flat was as described -- great location, full of charm, and an efficient use of space in a standardly small Parisian apartment. Everything was very clean and there was lots of closet space to hang clothes if you needed.
I found the place very charming and very French -- so I'd highly recommend.
While we didn't meet the hosts, they had everything easy for us to find and access the flat as well as leave keys at the end.
We came for work so we had everything we needed here for a short weekend stay. It's a very tiny space, so for two people it might not be ideal for a long stay (unless you're going to be out of the place all day -- which you should be as this is Paris!).
Hot water worked, bed was surprisingly comfortable and the flat was away from street noise.
This was my first AirBnB experience, albeit not a pleasant one.
The apartment has an awesome location, close to Saint Germain metro station and with restaurants and clubs easily accessible.
The wifi didnt work. Contacted the owner about wifi issues, but apart from blaming it on the telecom companies and asking to wait for a day, no action was taken. The bathroom didnt even have basic necessities like hand soap. Eventually after a day's wait, I contacted airbnb for refund and moved out into a hotel.
Bottomline - if everything works out, this apartment could be an awesome place to stay, however, if faced with a situation like ours, you may be left in the lurch considering owner's unresponsiveness.
The location is pretty nice that we can easily go anywhere. Metro station is very close that walking distance is around 3 minutes, to reach two different lines. We feel comfortable when back to apartment even late in midnight, because there are so many cafe and bistro nearby. Also bakery (like Paul) or supermarket is located near apartment. Comfortable and convenient apartment for a couple like us to stay in Paris.
